yes there will be a new cd.
the cd is as good as finished and all the songs are completed.
i dont know if they will play any of the songs on the coming tour.
Danny Miranda from WWRY Vegas is playing bass.
That is in MANY other threads as well as his bio
on a couple different sites.
John's retirement (which is not new) has been mentioned in dozens of threads -
none of which turn into polite conversation.
OK?
hankey i like a lot of good music: metallica, korn, ramstein , pink floyd, david gilmore, bowie, the doors, u2, the stones etc etc.
what kind of misic do you like Hankey.
btw my name is Will
i am a big fan of bowie for years.
i also met him several times, and the last 2 concerts in holland i was lucky to get back stage.
did you ever went to a bowie concert?
my name is Ted by the way.
hello Ted.
well in been to a concert of Bowie in 1987 The glass spider tour and i found it perfect.
i met the a singer of deep purple glenn hughes, and the band he was touring with, 3 guy's of the band europe, went back stages and have lot of pictures.
sorry to interrupt you but I would be happy to hear you about your 'special informations'...
Brian or Roger never said anywhere theer will be a new Queen album. On ly rumours from Jim Beach in Russia if I remember well
sorry people
but in that german program "wetten dass" bri had said that they will tour, but they want to make new stuff, they want to play the "old" stuff (queen songs) but they want to create something new.
it is an almost "official" information

Free is a nice old band but i think that Quen should stick to there own style of music, with no disrespect for Paul Rogers, he is a good singer.
but if you need a showman they have to contract Robbie Williams, i think he will fit more in the style of Freddie Mercury "a showman with a great voice"
i'm sure they will come with a new cd .. Rog said that they were working on new stuff. Leading voices would be done by Bri, Roger AND Paul .. so he isn't replacing Freddie, but he is the frontman on the new tour and he will sing some songs on the new Queen cd .. not replacing my *ss :P
OK that would be great, but can you please tell me WHEN they will record this new CD ???
They have already not a lot of time for rehearsing and preparing the tour...
I can't see how they would have time for a whole creative process, writing songs, recording it, mixing it, editing it, then drawing the cover, distributing it, and on and on...
I wish they will but I'm afraid it will not be realeased before the tour.

Thanks for repeating my earlier sentiment, Buddy!
Brian and Roger chose Paul because he is NOT,
repeat NOT like Freddie.
He doesn't try to sing or act like Freddie.
He has his own personality.
He is not replacing Freddie.
He is singing for Queen.
OK?
Judging from Brian's recent interview,
they would just play the new songs BEFORE recording them.
I suppose the general excitement of the show would compensate for it,
but I think a new song in the set would just create a big lull.
...I guess it depends on the song.
