How can you not know who Jamie is:) He was in the Brian May band on both solo tours, he played virtually all concerts with Roger/Brian in the last years, for example, Party At The Palace, Modena, 46664, Queen Day in Amsterdam, etc. He is also a regular member of the SAS Band.
He is a good guitar player and a good singer, just listen to the Brian May VH1 acoustic set.
I think it's great that he is in.
Seriously; this is a band with so much quality. I really think it has more quality than the original Queen (I'm only talking about the intrument parts and the individual qualities as a live band .. not about the whole band as one, and not about recording qualities, and totally not about the singer! No-one can be compared to Freddie!)
How good Freddie could handle the piano, it's a fact that Spike is better.
Jamie Moses is ofcourse not a replacement for somebody..
I think Deacy was a very good composer, a great basser and I think he was a nice person; but this Danny guy is a real show-personallity it seems ..
And Bri and Rog are still great!
And read well people; I'm not saying this is a better band than the original Queen! This is just a better show band, with a much lesser good singer..
BUT! .. I'm only pointing at the individual qualities; what made Queen the best live band ever, was the feeling and knowledge they shared with each other on stage. The knew what the other would do and they could easily improvise on that. And that's what made Queen great, and that's something not any band can do again! They where a real unit, and I think that's what lacks this new band.
I'm glad to hear he is a good singer.
I was wondering about that.
I saw him in LA and he did a great job with guitar,
but didn't notice his vocals.
Hankster, I get your point,
but be prepaired for an argument from others.

He's very good, but as I know in the past times Queen were happy on stage with only one guitarist and I can't see reasons for inviting Jamie. The whole line-up seems to me more like the mix of Brian's and Roger's solo live bands than real band's line up, IMO.

and in the 80's they sometimes mixed double guitar parts .. so why not?
Yes, but on Tribute Brian played all guitars in CLTCL without any help.
Actually I ain't keen fan of any additional musicians on stage. They played CLTCL without any piano players before 'Hot Space' tour and it was okay.
