Do You Think Queen Sound Poor Without John .When You Hear Them Playing At The 46664 Concert They Miss John On Bass On such Songs As The Show Must Go On It sounds Crap Compared To Eltons Version With Queen On Greatest Hits III.
you are making utterly pointless comparisons
1. Queen (the foursome) never performed the song live, so you will never have a proper comparison to how it should sound
2. elton's version is not definitive either - it's all we have - but it ain't much
3. the "bass" isn't the problem - it's the missing "full monty" queen treatment - all you have is the studio version to compare with
4. let's see how the new queen ahndle - old songs - my guess? lot's of brian/roger written songs that they've both done live themselves - either solo tours or with the cross - that way (at least) Paul gets a fair chance without theunfavourable comparisions to freddie
and as for John? he's gone - leave it - the comparisions are futile
Poor John... He's always blamed for something... Freddie's not coming back... THAT is why Queen will never be the same... It's not John... It's not Roger or Brian, either...
I've heard Brian do Show Must Go On live, he isn't that bad. BUT... he can't sing and guitar at the same time. He is a very underrated singer, and by 1992 EQUALS Freddie's range in Show Must Go On. But I just don't think he can do it all live. Especially not while playing guitar.

No chance, Freddie was the best rock singer on the fucking planet... and Brian's voice will never equal his.

any Queen song sung by Freddie cannot be equalled by Roger or Brian - but that's not to say I don't rate them as singers in their own right.
Brian and Roger are good singers, but I'm sure that no any super groups would ever invite them to be their vocalists. When Bri or Rog sing Queen songs it's interesting and okay for us - Queen fans only, IMO.
uhhm.. lol. Miranda is his last name... How can u make fun of someone for having a "girl's name" as their last name.. ? Honestly.. And what the fuck does it have to do with his bass playing skills.. heh.

OK, I can cope with Brian's voice, as long as he's not trying to do any hard rocking. It suits well for stuff like '39 or All Dead All Dead, but roger? He used to be able to pull it off, and was one of the best backing vocalists in the business. But now he just sounds like an old man who gargles with bleach every morning. Now before everyone goes off on one, I'm not going down the 'roger's an old man.. blah blah blah' route, I'm just saying that he hasn't looked after his voice at all, and when I've heard him sing in the past few years it has been truly horrible. I suppose I'd better brace myself for impact now!
