Check out Brians website. Those touting bastards getmetickets.net are advertising tickets for Hyde Park on July 8th, I think. Accordibng to Brian this "gig" has not been confirmed yet!! Makes you wonder where getmetickets get their info from.
This is unlikely because of local residents objecting to the noise levels generated. I understand that Robbie Williams applied to have his Knebworth shows originally at HP, but was turned down.
Unless there is some kind of special event (ie a Princes Trust show), HP will not happen.

A Queen + Paul Rodgers ONLY show at Hyde Park is very ambitious even by their standards and agree that it will possibly be part of a Prince's Trust show. It's typical that getmetickets are using Queen + Paul Rodgers to "promote" this gig as they know that ticket sales for the Tour have been excellent and they're using their pulling power accordingly to cash in! They're counting their chickens way too early and hope they end up with egg on their face!! Front row specialists
for a standing only gig. Fucking pathetic and totally dishonest!!. They should make selling tickets above face value illegal like they do in the United States (apparently).
For some reason Brian alway wants to make state secrets out of everything. Don't ever expect clear yes or no answers from him. Especially when someone questions or criticizes decisions made by him or his company. It's his style of tryig to look more important and to create more excitement.
Instead, expect to be told his opinion about fox hunting or expensive non-smoking restaurants in London, HURRAH this HURRAH that.
In the beginning he wanted to deny the whole tour.
I don't think Jamie Moses posts tour dates on his site when they are not official, and I do think those ticket folks have a reason to expect Queen to play Hyde Park exactly that day.

But it's amazing that people are STILL being sucked in by this kind of thing. Surely, when you see tickets liek this become "available", it immediately sets alarm bells ringing? If you then CHOOSE to buy the tickets, it's entirely your OWN fauly that you have been duped.
It's the same with money lenders atc that end up charging extortionate rates of interest. You make a conscious decision to do what you do and therefore should take the consequences yourself.

Couldn't agree more. Anyone who is gullible and falls for this only has themselves to blame. It is quite disturbing though in that somebody think that tickets are already sold out as a thread on queen online suggests.

It's the nature of Queen fans I'm afraid. Of all the bands I have an interest in (The Who, Led Zep, Free, Queen, Small Faces, Clapton, etc), it only seems to be Queen fans that fall for this kind of scam.
Sadly, your average Queen fan wants things so badly to be true taht they will believe ANYTHING in the vain hope that it might be true - all of a sudden, rational thought goes flying out of the window and is replaced by a rabid slavering for the imaginary tickets or releases that are mooted.
Look at the "Watch This Space" rubbish on Brian's site - how many people came up with the idea that this would be NEW music from Q+PR? Absolutely hilarious that people sent the time thinking that this MIGHT be the case, when just a little bit of clear, calm thinking would have cleared the mind. What we WILL get on the BM.com site is a second-rate West End singer performing a cover of a second-rate Queen song - but at least it's free........
Haha, Benn, your were among those people with one of the most bizarre and laughable theories concerning the "special announcement". You're the master of pompous theories with following climb-down, and then claiming everything was forseeable anyway. Quite forgetful it seems.
