Queen are proud of the fact that they hardly used synths, not up until radio ga ga. but correct me if i'm wrong but isn't there one on killer queen now and again. or if it isn't how is the electronic effect produced
no synths on killer queen. but there were synths before radio ga ga, on both the game and hot space, and probably (i think) on flash gordon. all, my jazz lp does not say 'no syth' so perhaps on jazz. anybody know for sure> brain was able to creat some sounds with the delay and multi-layer of his guitars that sounded like synths.

Yeah I know, the News of the World album doesn't say «no synths» either... I wondered for a while if synths weren't use for this album and for Jazz. But The Game album clearly says that it's the first Queen album to contain a synth - so that means NOTW and Jazz didn't had any ...
I think it may be because a harmonizer was used on 'Get Down Make Love' and Syn-drums were used on 'Fun It'. But that's not a very good excuse, now is it?
On "The Game" there is written: "This album includes the first appearance of a synthesizer (an Oberheim OBX) on a Queen album."
So, if they didn't lie (I don't expect to), no synths before The Game.
