Hmm, I guess All Dead, All Dead; My Melancholy Blues; Good Company can be; Lily of the Valley; Nevermore; Jealousy; Save Me;and maybe Drowse; Don't Try Suicide; or Dear Friends. Then again, whatever depresses you depends on who you are and what has made you feel that way. If I'm ever in a bad mood and need to be cheered up I listen to Don't Try So Hard and then The Show Must Go On. It lifts me up and is more constructive than staying in a low mood.
Hope this helped!
I Guess Were Falling Out? (not sure bout that one)
Don't Try So Hard
No One But You
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Bijou
Too Much Love Will Kill You
A Winters Tale
Mother Love
Lily Of The Valley
One Year Of Love?
I think Mother love is a really sad song - the first time i heard it i just felt like crying. But songs like Dear friends, Love of my life, You take my breath away, My melancholy blues, Jealousy, Save me, Is this the world we created, Who wants to live forever, These are the days of our lives... are also very sad songs - that's what makes them so great. I also think songs on Made in Heaven album are beautifully sad - It's a beautiful day, Made in heaven, My life has been saved, Heaven for everyone, TMLWKY, A winter's tale... These songs are sad when you know the context in which they were made, but that's why they're all so intense

LOVE IT.. makes me sad though.
same here
i would suggest listening to innuendo or made in heaven and think of the context of the two albums... if that doesnt make you sad, dunno what would...
My list would be -
Show must go on
Too much love will kill you
Who wants to live forever (especially the instrumental Forever)
Mother Love
In my defence
These are the days of our lives
Is this the world we created

MY DISAGREEMENTS: Good Company, Don't Try Suicide...Save Me's not so much depressing as it is just a semi-sad tale. Lily of the Valley doesn't sound too depressing. I LOVE Drowse, so to me it's not at all depressing.
thanks guys
yeah what prompted me was Too Much Love Will Kill You but now i think i've got a nice comprehensive list..should be a great night tonight

A "good night"? Sure, if you're a psycho! Or mentally ill, or a cutter...*ahem*...but this is a good list! I think there should be a thread for the most depressing songs, not limited to Queen.
All Dead, All Dead
a good depressing song, but not TOO depressing
Save Me
it's depressing, but more hopeful that above
Teo Torriatte
depressing only when in the right mindset still more hopeful than either above

The Night Comes Down
She Makes Me
My Melancholy Blues
White Queen
Dont Try So Hard

I put that line in there for a reason ;)
To further that, some people have put You Take My Breath Away on this list. This is a very dear song to me. It sincerely and accurately reminds me of someone I love. It fills me with joy and makes me very happy. Still, others are allowed a different take on it. There are many different ears that listen to one song.
Ps - I like Drowse too, and I don't think it's depressing. There might've been the possibilty that someone else could see it that way. I try my best to be an optimist, so I was just stepping back to grab a fuller view of what could be a 'depressing' song. It's just a suggestion anyhow :)

Most depressing ? Maby Mother Love... That's depressing. And GOOD.
And My Melancholy Blues. The title is also depressing!!
