I must say the truth,I dont really know where is Deacon now, what he´s doing, etc. The thing is that I always see Brian and Roger but no John. What´s the matter with him? Doesn´t he feel a member of Queen? |
StarShine 16.02.2005 21:12 |
HE'S RETIRED!!! CAN YOU PEOPLE GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK HEADS! Got that off my chest.:P |
Gunpowder Gelatine 16.02.2005 21:14 |
I don't think anything's the matter with him. He spent the better part of his life being a part of Queen and now he's chosen to opt out of the spotlight and retire. He gave so much to the band that it's only fair to let him enjoy his life now without questioning his decisions. |
L-R-TIGER1994 16.02.2005 21:25 |
Because he's bored,he was not satisfied con Robbie Williams singing WATC,imagined what he thought when he was informed about the tour with PR!!!!. |

Indeed it is..... John is happily minding his own business ( literally!) and enjoying time with his family. He has given us the best years of his life and now he deserves to enjoy the remaining time to himself and his family in private. John is a very private chap, so he is simply getting on with his life now and not "hiding" or " slient protesting" as some have therorized. He is fine..and very comfortable where he is now. Let him be...bless him. Oh, and why is it that all of a sudden everyone seems to be addressing him by his full name? John Richard Deacon? I know it sounds lovely, but is'nt it a bit much? |

i can't believe that hardly a week goes by on here before some cretin-lugs starts the "why isn't John touring? do Brian and Roger not wnat him? what would Freddie think of them touring without John and using that awful Paul Rodgers geezer" ............thread...it really is a pointless mission people - give up now!!! John has retired - he doesn't want to work with Queen - or anyone else !!! geddit???? now ease off on the fella as i said before - if some fucker starts nagging me to go back to work after i've retired (Blair's government?) I will swing for the fuckers....now let john rest okay? Richard...any chance of putting a "John's retired - do not start stupid threads" banner on the homepage? - it wouldn't necessarily stop the incredulous thread, but it would give us all a justifiable reason to swear like mad-f**kers at them!!!! |

I love the use of middle names just to prove you are a true fan!!!!! :S lol So, whens this newbie thread coming round? |
Deacons 1st Choice 17.02.2005 22:05 |
Hmm...ok, so it's a sign of being a "true fan" if you use his full name. Well i learned something today.... Now who wants a cup of tea? |
7Innuendo7 17.02.2005 23:32 |
um, I drink peppermint tea, and *whoa* I'm thirsty |
Melancholy Blues 18.02.2005 01:13 |
can we please stop obsessing over why john isn't touring etc. if you are a 'true' fan than you would want him to be happy and his life outside of Queen obviously makes him happy. leave him alone. |
goinback 18.02.2005 01:17 |
OK I think we need a big pop-up screen of FAQs that comes up when entering the forums.... |
john bodega 18.02.2005 02:11 |
Can't you fools guess? He's watching "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest" and drinking tea. I reckon Freddie Mercury's ghost will get you |
Sonia Doris 18.02.2005 14:59 |

Who is "John" and why would he go on a Queen tour? |
joloomes 18.02.2005 20:18 |
All right, all right. I didn't know zillions of other people have asked the same question before. I only just found this site so keep your hair on (all of you who have still got some). I respect John's wishes not to participate but how can Brian and Roger still call themselves Queen when John & Freddie are not involved. I prefer to live with my fantastic memories of the original four and think they should leave well alone or perform under a new name. Belated wishes for a Happy Retirement John, we all miss you xx |
Scott_Mercury 18.02.2005 21:35 |
Joloomes- I couldn't agree with you more. I love Brian and Roger, and I would love to see them make more music.... But for god sakes, don't call yourselves Queen. Queen is overwith. We will always have out audio and visual footage though of this awesome band. |
john bodega 19.02.2005 07:07 |
Oh Boo Hoo. It's more Queen than it would be if YOU went on tour, get over yerselves yah hung-up idiots. The dead don't care! |
