Hello! Me and my whole family will go to Stockholm and they won´t let me wait outside Globen the whole day to get a good place. So, I wonder, when do you think it´s a good time to come before the concert, to get a good place?
That is impossible to know beforehand...
I've been in concerts (both in Finland and Ireland) where I have arrived literally when the doors were opened, and still managed to be standing a few metres from the stage. :P
I guess that only fans who have front row seats are really happy about not having to worry about their views at these gigs. Fans going to Wembley Pavilion have no choice but to accept seats where ever they are. I'm standing at Cardiff so will be quite happy at being a few "rows" from the front as in previous gigs. Hope there aren't too many surges when they appear...I'm fairly short at 5' 3" so I'll make sure that I'll get the best view possible by positioning myself....hope there are not too many lanky people where I am but that's the risk you take. I'd rather take this risk than be in the balcony where the atmosphere is more subdued. Having said that, I'll be in Cardiff fairly early as my ticket is at the box office for collection.
There are some decent bars very near the Cardiff Arena and a GREAT restaraunt who's name I can't remember. The floor slopes upwards from the front slightly, so wherever you are you get a decent view.....

I've been to Cardiff CIA 4 times.. 2 standing, 1 seated on ground floor and once in the balcony. I've always had a good view especially with standing. Wasn't aware of sloping floor but thanks. Will probably have a pint from the Arena bar after buying some goodies. Hope they're reasonably priced. Be surprised if an XL T-shirt is less than £35 - £40 and a programme under £10. Expensive night out including ticket price of £50 but what the hell...first tour for 19 years. Will have to watch my beer intake...don't want to have to take a piss just before they come on! I'll have to cross my legs otherwise and join the line at the gents after the show!!

I'm coming to Cardiff on the Friday night and staying til Monday. Any suggestions of where to go to eat/drink will be gratefully received.
Good to hear about the sloping floor at the CIA, my partners 5'1" and was worried she'd not get to see anything !
I'm glad I have seating tickets on the first row and at a very good place I must say.
I can't stand standing within a lot of people, so this is perfect for me
