I have been informed by my friend in Japan that my package, which includes the Queen: Jewels II CD, is being mailed out today as we speak. If anyone else is looking for an MP3 copy of this mix, I will be able to send it out once I receive the CD, hopefully sometime next week, depending on my postal system. E-mail me or jot your e-mail address(es) here if you wish to be put on the 'to send' list for this MP3. Regards, Richard |

It's in the profile. Thanks for your unending generosity, Richard. |

I would love a copy. <lady_stardust96@yahoo.com> Thanks for the generous offer! |
| inu-liger 15.02.2005 07:58 |
You're very welcome! The package is in the mail for sure now, so I'm hoping to get it by Monday next week (though it could be held up slightly at customs, so give or take a few days). It shouldn't take long since I instructed my friend not to value the contents of the package at more than $30 CDN, because packages (marked as gifts) valued over $50 CDN will incur custom duties and charges on my end :P Have had several experiences with that... But anyways, I'm surprised at the number of responses I'm getting! Keep 'em coming! |

What is the point of an MP3 of a HIGH definition mix? It kind of loses the plot somewhat! Besides, isn't this an officially released product - so why not order it over the internet link - like the rest of us? |
| The Keeper 15.02.2005 13:25 |
really appreciate a copy. Is there anything i can give you in aexchange ? |
| Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 15.02.2005 13:51 |
Thank you for offering! I'd like to have a copy. Please send it to the e-mail address below, which I have "masked" a little, trying to escape from spammers. Sorry if it causes you any trouble :) arnaldosilveira AT uol.com.br (Please replace " AT " with the "@" sign and remove the empty spaces). Thanx a million, Ogre- |

John S Stuart wrote: What is the point of an MP3 of a HIGH definition mix? It kind of loses the plot somewhat! Besides, isn't this an officially released product - so why not order it over the internet link - like the rest of us?Because: 1) No-one's going to pay about $30 for one track (though I've heard that the quality of the other tracks are nice) 2) Customs are really bitchy about custom duties that have to be paid for Japanese imports, if you understand what I mean 3) Not everyone has a credit card, nor will a lot of people pay $10 just to send cash registered to Japan (I've done it once before, and I'm never going to pay that much ever again! My total cost for that one order I did in 2003, for just 2 CD-Singles and a DVD+CD, cost me nearly $60-$70 CDN!!! And that includes custom duties I had to pay!) And I will be encoding this MP3 at the highest bitrate with certain software that came with my soundcard (320kbps), and trust me, I've found that no information is lost at all in terms of sound quality at 320kbps! I've done audio tests myself, using certain effects on an audio program. Besides, if I were to share the WHOLE CD, that'd be a different issue. And I will update the sending list later today, to include the newer e-mail requests! I have nearly 10+ in total for requests! I'm just swamped! LOL! |

sfochetti wrote: really appreciate a copy. Is there anything i can give you in aexchange ?Nah, it's OK. I pretty much have about 80% of the available Queen studio rarities and versions alone, not counting solo projects, in my collection. I'm doing this for free for everyone interested. |
| inu-liger 15.02.2005 15:45 |
This is amazing! I never thought I'd get this much of a tidal wave of responses/requests to this thread, both here and in my e-mail! lol! |

Yeah wow - fancy QueenZone offering pirated copies of an official product !!!! I wonder if the music industry checks all the emails out on here ??? ROFL *wink wink* |

teddybear wrote: Yeah wow - fancy QueenZone offering pirated copies of an official product !!!! I wonder if the music industry checks all the emails out on here ??? ROFL *wink wink*One would wonder if they've even ever heard of the Queen HUB :P |
| teddybear 15.02.2005 16:22 |
I doubt it, that is an invite only thing - not a public board - but maybe they do, but on the hub you are not allowed to share official rips (well that is what I thought). It is only for bootleg or stuff recorded off TV. |
| Zander05 15.02.2005 16:30 |
Richard, please email me Teo Torriate! I love you man! You rock HARDCORE!!! |

teddybear wrote: I doubt it, that is an invite only thing - not a public board - but maybe they do, but on the hub you are not allowed to share official rips (well that is what I thought). It is only for bootleg or stuff recorded off TV.That's only half-true. The only things you're NOT allowed to share are: All official Queen albums (from Queen to On Fire: Live At The Bowl), not including At The Beeb/BBC. All official Queen DVD's which are: 46664 Freddie Mercury Tribute Freddie Mercury Video Collection Greatest Video Hits I Greatest Video Hits II Live At Wembley Stadium On Fire: Live At The Bowl Basically, almost anything else is acceptable. I'm a member of the HUB, so if you have any questions about the HUB, teddybear, let me know. |
| inu-liger 15.02.2005 16:45 |
Oh! And the HUB is not an invite-only thing, just so you know. Anyone can join, as long as they've got at least 3GB of Queen material (MP3's, vids, etc.), and as long as they follow the rules obviously |
| teddybear 15.02.2005 16:54 |
I have been a member for a couple of years myself, so don't need any enlighement. Alot of my files are already in there, particulary the Aussie footage. But thanks anyway. |

John S Stuart wrote: So this is finally what Queenzone has descended into? Regardless of excuses, this is THEFT. It is both intellectually and morally WRONG. Queen Jewels II is easily available and IS certainly affordable in Canada. Shame on you - for the distribution, and shame on the rest of us for allowing this to happen.I didn't say I wasn't buying the CD, John. I certainly am getting it, aren't I? Stock is expected on 20 Feb, so get in there. I agree that the mass request for this track is out of order - I wanted it, I've ordered it, and I hope you all do the same too. Cheers cmsdrums |

HAH! I remember this thread! I'm really glad I downloaded this and didn't pay for it. If those bunglers at Queen want to do the sensible thing and put it in SHOPS in places like, I dunno, Australia, then I'll gladly fork out money for something I really don't need. Until then... Me = 1. Japan-only-release = 0. |
