Has anyone out there got an mp3 of the new High Definition Mix of Teo Torriate that Brian was going on about on his website a few months back. Has it been released anywhere yet?
Thanks a lot
Steve B
I'm going to get the CD that it comes from, from a friend of mine in Japan, in about a week or two (right now, she's sick with the flu, so I don't think she'll be able to send it out today like she promised).
If you don't mind waiting, I'll send you the track once I get the CD. I can give you a very high quality MP3 copy of it then.
Is that alright with you?
No problem. You're very much welcome.
I'll let you know as soon as I get the CD in!
EDIT: Could you e-mail me your e-mail addy, please? I cannot see it in your profile since it is apparently private. My e-mail addy, which is in my profile, is inuyasha@queenzone.com
Please and thanks! I just need the one e-mail from you, so I can have it stored for when I do have the track sent in! Thanks!
By the way, if you want to hear a sample of it, there's one for now at: link (not my site, but Rien's)
It's in the Download --> MP3 section.
It has two short samples of the song in one MP3

my addy is flash00@queenzone.com
thanks :)
I'll add you to the list, alright?
I have two other people on the list now, so if you want, I'll send it to you at the same time as the others when I get it.
Good news regarding the Jewels II CD: My friend in Japan is feeling much better, and will have had my package, which includes this CD, sent out earlier today!
Hopefully I'll have it within a week!
What is the point of an MP3 of a HIGH definition mix? It kind of loses the plot somewhat!
Besides, isn't this an officially released product - so why not order it over the internet link - like the rest of us?
Hi, John!
Well, I'm certainly not in the position of buying a Japanese import just for one enhanced mix of a song. Or even for the purpouse of completing my collection.
So, if I can't have "the thing", I can try to find differences between the old mix and this new one, even if it is on the mp3 format. One can't but try. :/
Please bear in mind that not all of us live in wealthy countries or are wealthy people. So, sometimes, people may be forced to discard one or two releases like this. And, I can tell you, I don't do that without a pain in the chest.
And, last but not least, I'm a big fan of your great generosity in sharing your vast Queen knowledge with us. I'm anxiously waiting for the continuation of your series of information about the 70's recordings.
Cheers,
Ogre-

And who would you define "the rest of us" as?
No offense meant or anything...
Hey there, while we're talking about Japan...
That music video to "I Was Born To Love You"... will that be on GHIII, or are we NEVER GOING TO SEE IT?? I've not seen it before and can't find it nowhere (I'm holding out on trying to get the Japanese thing because it costs a bundle from here, and if it'll be on GHIII then there's no point).

What´s new with it? Is it one of the DoRo compilations or it has really previously unseen footage?
it's not a DORO compilation but it's a very well done clip mixing the well known video with unseen material of Freddie from outtakes of IWBTLY, and with live material of Queen.
Great video.
Brian once said that it was very interesting and would love to take another go at mixing it.

Great video.
There's a copy of this video on the karaoke dvd, only trouble is it has the lyrics running across it, even when you chose to put Freddies vocals back on.
