Hey Monty Python Freaks out there! I can't figure out the Killer Rabbit part of the DVD to get to the easter eggs or whatever they are.
Hey even if you don't know, reply anyway! Who else likes MP and the Holy Grail? IMO the Killer Rabbit scene is the most rediculous scene in that film. "pull out thy holy pin". In America, too many people just don't get that humor. (though there are also many diehards here)
The Holy Grail is probably one of the greatest comedic movies of all time. "Look! It's the old man from scene 24!"
Oh yes, I'm American and I love Monty Python :-)
Awesome-o how can you hate the killer rabbit scene?!?! That's my fav. scene in the movie! An innocent furry little rabbit attacking king arthur and his men... too damn funny
:D :D :D
french taunters and the witch trial are the best bits (imo)
and has anyone noticed how much cruelty to black cats goes on in that film?
so (from memory) here goes...........
"we've found a witch - can we burn her?"
"what makes you think that she's a witch?"
"she turned me into a newt"
"......a....newt?"
"i got better"
"there are ways of telling if she's a witch"
"are there? - do they hurt"
"what also burns apart from witches?"
"more witches!!!!!"
Hmmm question what's imo mean? sorry not good with abbreviations.
But yes, I'm a HUGE Monty Python nurd. *begins to hum the Lumber Jack song* And that movie is just hysterical. Eric Idol is just fabulous.
I just love the "Trojan Rabbit" scene.
"Then Sir Robin, Galahad, and I will jump out of the rabbit and..."
"Who will jump out of the rabbit?"
"er... Sir Robin...Galahad...and... maybe if we built a large wooden badger..."
Wooden badger, that cracks me up.
NI!

Haha, I didn't say I hated it, I just said it was ridiculous- which is is! I love it of course!
Wait... so noone has the Dvd? No one can tell me about the killer rabbit?
loves Monty Python - has anyone seen the DVD "Concert for George"? For those who may not know, George Harrison funded one of the Monty Python movies and so started a life long friendship with the gang. To cut a long story short, in the tribute concert there was a "Monty Python" section which had two of my favourite Python songs "Sit on my Face" and of course "The Lumberjack Song". At the end of "Sit on my Face" the lads turn around to go off stage and they all have bare bums! And in the "Lumberjack" they have a special guest Mounty - Tom Hanks! And the backstage interviews with the gang are just as hilarious as the onstage antics.
Yep, true dat. It was Life of Brian he funded by his company Handmade Films. George is actually in the film for about 2 seconds whilst the followers are in Brian's house (Brian the Prophet, not Brian Epstein)
Reg (John Cleese): Uh, Brian, can I introduce the gentleman who's letting us have the Mounts on Sunday?
Mr. Papadopolous (George Harrison): Hello.
So there you go.
It's a shame that Graham Chapman died. Indeed the most talented and funniest out of the Pythons. 'twas good he and John teamed up much like Paul and John.
Stop that! It's very silly!
I believe that Eric Idle wrote a lot of Meaning of Life and Life of Brian. Aaah, I still remember the satisfaction of doing the Spanish Inquisition on stage. I was Biggles.
'Spamelot', their Broadway show that opened this month......has already raked in $18 M in presale tix.

CHAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE, (5 seconds later) RUN AWAY! lol,
the best bit has to be,
"where did u get those coconuts?"
"we found them"
"found them, coconuts are tropical and this is a temerate zone"
"so, a bird carried it"
"what type of bird?"
"the swallow, cud grasp it by the husk"
"Its not a matter of where it grips it, it a difference of weight ratios, a 3 ounce swallow cud not carry a 5 ounce coconut"...
I'll try not to spoil the rest!
LOL, hysterical!
In answer to the actual question....
From the menu, choose the "killer rabbit" option, then play the film. As is plays there will be a white rabbit from time to time in the corner of the screen. When you see it, press enter.
Yay! I loved The Holy Grail and the Meaning Of Life... I am currently working on Flying Circus.
"Well, I mean, I agree. If there were fewer robbers, there wouldn't be so many of them, numericly speaking."
I prefer the series as well. The movies are funny but I tend to find so much Monty Python gets a bit tedious. And I still haven't seen the Holy Grail which even I think makes me unfit to live.
Indeed. Death at dawn.
Unfortunately I too share a crippling hate of the 'Dead Parrot' sketch. I just don't find it funny. Aieee!
My favourite Pythons, in order, are Graham Chapman, Eric Idle, John Cleese, Michael Palin and the two Grahams, Jones just edging out Gillam (pfft, he had a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal big contribution to the series...he did. All that animation took many a cold night to do)
Graham Chapman, biggest party pooper ever.
The killer rabbit scene was hilarious in Spamalot...the way they made it look like the rabbit was killing the knight was hilarious...they sold the killer rabbit at the show, but they were sold out..I was so angry..I really wanted to buy the killer rabbit...
