I love listening to a song I haven't heard in awhile and realizing just how good it is. I just listened to I Go Crazy for the first time in maybe a year and realized just how great it is! It would've fit perfectly on The Works, actually. Anybody else re-discovered a song lately?
In my case, I re-discovered almost all of Hot Space tracks. After watching the MK DVD, it occurred to me that I would listen to HS album again and again. As a result of it, I realized how cool it is entirely, esp. some numbers, for example, Action This Day. Now I love this number of both live version and album version.
Besides, I also re-discovered I Go Crazy, though it's not so lately...

I re-discovered Sheer Heart Attack maby 2 weeks ago. I always thougt it was boring song but now it's one of my favorites! I love the live version!!!
I like that about Queen actually, I re-discovered Jazz the other day.
I think I Go Crazy is a really good song, but I don't think it would have fit on the Works, it's not the same kind of sound. Great tune though!
I still think Hot Space is crap, even after trying to re-discover it and watching MK dvd too, I'm afraid there may be no rescuing it in my opinion!

yea i love the live version too. there's just something about it that i can't quite put my finger that makes it so very special ;)
I re-discovered Queen I after not listening to it for a year (this was some time ago). More specifically, Keep Yourself Alive. It just suddenly dawned on me how fantastic the song really was. It's like when you FINALLY get a Queen album you had been searching for for months/years and you put it in your CD player and you get such a legal high from it! God, I love that feeling!
Like Big Spender, I bought the MK dvd and loved it particularly cos Staying Power and Action this Day live are fab - so i decided to listen to HS again after quite a while and now i cant stop listening to it!re-discovering songs is fantabulous!

Yep. Sheer Heart Attack, Brighton Rock, Mustapha and Just Keep Passing The Open Windows.

What CD is I Go Crazy in? I have been looking for it, but can't find it.
Is it Blurred Vision or something?
hmm how bizzare if " i go crazy" had been on the works, no one would have thought any more of it, i for one think it should have been on the album & increased the songs to 10 & how exactly does it not fit?... there's hammer to fall, tear it up & man on the prowl (all straight rock 'n'roll songs) that are present on the album.. i think it would have been a great album opener after the poor hot space lp before.. whats more bizarre is why it was never done live.. ah well
Oh! I forgot another song, though it's not their original. I re-discovered Jailhouse Rock, though it's not so lately. I used to listen to its Presley's version which I loved so much until I re-discovered Freddie's version. As to this song, I prefer Freddie's version so much!
These songs always surpise me with every listen...
-- You And I
-- Jealousy
-- All Dead, All Dead
(Piano reminds me of an updated and improved "In My Life" by the Beatles"
-- Under Pressure --this song has class written all over it
-- The Show Must Go On -- their swan song, it's larger than Queen itself.
I Go Crazy was also the B-side to the
12 inch single of Radio Ga Ga .
That's another great thing about Queen ,
even their B-sides are f'n excellent !
But still I fear and still I dare not
Laugh at the Madman.
after relistening to jazz i noticed how good jealousy was!! at the time i bought it till the next release i used to skip it as i found it "BORING" now i love it!!
