A great thing came into my mind. Can you just imagine, that Queen would play a concert for instance in 1990. The last one. Not on stadium, of course, but for the small audience....and it necessary to be filmed. I think Freddie would stand it..., just one concert. I wonder, why didn't they do that? I think this concert would make a sign in music history.
Because Freddie didn't want the world to see his illness. And Freddie couldn't just sit down in a chair and sing a few songs. It was everything or nothing.
With Freddie's illness at the time, I doubt he'd be able to tolerate the volume on stage and he couldn't move about like on previous tours. He wanted the Magic Tour to be the last because he knew that that would be the last time he'd be physically up to performing. And if you check out the commentary on GVHII with videos such as Scandal and Breakthru, Brian points out that though Freddie seemed to be doing well, he was quite ill at the time and constantly needed a break. It was a very smart move to stop touring when he did.

Also, Think of the field day the press would have had! I mean, Everyone remembers Freddie going out 'on top' in 86'. He was healthy and ran the stage like an animal. But had they done a concert in 1990... Well, You get the picture. Let's just say it wouldn't be a good show. Hell, Chances are, It would've killed him!
because his illness made him too fragile to do much
so therefore...they didn't...don't imagine it...because imagination can't change the facts...just try and imagine getting over it
