Just wondering about this. I know everyone has different opinions about the best and worst songs of each studio album. Just wanted to get some feedback. All of these are my opinion. Queen: Best Song - Liar or Great King Rat, it's a toss-up; Worst Song - Jesus (although I like all the songs on this album) Queen II: Best Song - The March Of The Black Queen; Worst Song - See What A Fool I've Been (Hollywood Records version) or Funny How Love Is (that song is just way too repetitive) Sheer Heart Attack: Best Song - Flick Of The Wrist or Bring Back That Leroy Brown (another toss-up) Worst Song - She Makes Me A Night At The Opera: Best Song - Love Of My Life (Sorry Bo. Rhap. fans); Worst Song - Good Company A Day At The Races: Best Song - Teo Torriatte; Worst Song - Drowse (Roger's Best I think is The Loser In The End or I'm In Love With My Car) News Of The World: Best Song - Spread Your Wings (WWRY or WATC would be an obvious choice also); Worst Song - Fight From The Inside (again not Roger's best) Jazz: Best Song - Jealousy or Bicycle Race; Worst Song - Mustapha (hands down) The Game: Best Song - Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Save Me is a close second) Worst Song - Don't Try Suicide Flash Gordon: Best Song - The Hero; Worst Song - everyone else except for Flash Hot Space: Best Song - Las Palabras de Amor; Worst Song - Dancer The Works: Best Song - It's A Hard Life; Worst Song - Can't really think of one. Even Funny is a good one, "Anytime, anytime, Anywhere, anywhere, if you gotta make love do it everywhere!! HELL YEAH! SHA: Pretty much all of it. Least favs, not worst are Misfire & She Makes Me ANATO: Awesome, must be listened to in its entirety! ADATR: My very favorite album! Not a bad one in the bunch! NOTW: Again, awesome! Fight is a great guitar riff, & Meloncholly Blues is sublime! Oh how I wish Sinatra would have covered it! Jazz: Seven Days & Dead On Time. I enjoy the rest as well. Game: SASS & Save Me, Least fav is Coming Soon but still enjoy it. Flash: The Hero and Title Track. the remainder is OK. Hot Space: Back Chat & LIR. Can't pick a least favorite. Works: Machines & ITTWWC. Worst is I Want to Break Free. I just never got into this song from day one back in '84 It's slightly better live. Magic: WWTLF, worst is Pain Is So Close... Jesus, White Man, My Baby Does Me are worst tracks?! Is My Baby Does Me more worst than Party? Seven Seas Of Rhye (short piano version) is better than Jesus? Well... I'm shocked! I don't want to name all tracks which are not my fave ones, because it depends on my mood. I don't like some early Brian tracks which he sung himself like She Makes Me, Some Day One Day, Good Company, Leavin' Home Ain't Easy. And Man On The Prowl is not my fave from The Works. Coming Soon either. Funny thing is that I can't name least favorite track from ADATR (Innuendo and NATO are great albums, but there are some weak songs even)! |

I'm glad I made this post. It's shocking though that some of my favorite songs people think are the worst and vice versa. I guess we all have our own tastes. I still stand by my opinion that Mustapha is the worst song on Jazz. And anyone who says Teo Torriatte is a bad song is high I think. Ever hear that song live? It's great. IMO |

Well I don't know all of the Queen albums very well but the ones I have, have too many good songs to count. So I'm only gonna list the worse. Don't get me wrong there are no "Bad" Queen songs, they all have redeeming qualities, but I do have some that I like less... Queen- Kinda hard but Modern times rock and roll never did anything for me. Queen II- What a fool I've been. Hands down. SHA- She makes me. That's a wierd song NATO- Sweet Lady. ADATR- White Man NOTW- Hmm, Get Down Make love and Fight from the inside aren't that appealing. A kind of Magic- Don't lose your head Innuendo- I like them all but Delilah gets annoying. Even though i love the song. |
