Wooohooo about bloody time. Wales have shown how good they finally are by beating "world champions" England at rugby. Funny thing though, theres no mention on the news. If it were the other way around, we wouldnt hear the end of it, so heres to WALES!!!! |
The King Of Rhye 06.02.2005 06:59 |

The King Of Rhye 06.02.2005 07:28 |
uh England.........well its that island of the north of Europe.....I think I have might have heard of it......or I also might have heard of one of THE most popular bands to come from there........er, as I heard it, they're now 2nd in collectability to that other British group of some minor success, the Beatles.......... |
The King Of Rhye 06.02.2005 07:32 |

No football talk this season Dud? Arf.... And you're Welsh? Well, well well...shouldn't you support your local team - Wrexham/Chester/Shrewsbury Town? |
brENsKi 06.02.2005 17:12 |

I don't know where Canada is...probably all tucked away in the corner of America. |
DudleyFufkin 07.02.2005 14:42 |
Actually guru, Swansea is my local team and I've never followed them. Is Man U your local? Talking of football, the rafalution has already started. Morrientes is far better than Rooney. Hes just a big kid who needs a slap. Liverpool can only hope to achieve 4th position this year and win the league cup and go as far as possible in europe. All the injurues we've had this year have been unbelivable. No other club has ever had that many key injuries. I cant see you winning too much this season.... Now where was I, oh yes, Wales beating England. |
We Are The Champions 07.02.2005 14:45 |
Rydw i'n falch. Mae Cymru wedi curo Lloegr! Cymru am byth!! Translation is not available! |

Swansea? And I bet you spend hours entertaining your mates with irony-free gags about Man Utd fans in Devon... And yes, Utd were, rather fortunately, my local team at birth, and at point of getting into football. Actually, you seem to be around my age, maybe a little younger, in which case weren't Swansea in the top division while you were a kid? But you still supported a team from 150 miles away. Was it all that silverware won on penalties against the might of Brugges that attracted you, or the entertaining back pass tactics? _________________________________________- Now, Liverpool injuries? Harry Kewell - no great loss, let's be honest. Cinema Ponghole - shite anyway. Milan Baros - peaked in the summer. plus, if it's a problem, DON'T SELL YOUR FIRST CHOICE STRIKER! Morientes is a great player, but is now coming down from his peak and it seems odd that he's older than the player he replaces. I apologise for not noticing the rest of the longest injury list in the world ever, but I stopped looking for Liverpool's results after their sixth defeat which ruled them out of the title race. Everton, before Xmas. Imaginative jibe about Rooney, but let's compare them when Rooney's got to Morientes' age. Morientes may still have had the better career, but I can't see Liverpool being any more than a footnote. |

Well how come Man u are so great all of a sudden then? What have they done this season? Beat Arsenal? We did that. What will you win? The league? You know very well chelsea will win it. At least we are in a final,. and a mickey mouse one as you mancs will call it, but would it be so mickey mouse if you were in it? And I'm a bit younger than you, Swansea had just gone all the way down from 1 to division 4 when I started following Liverpool. And thats not the reason why I dont follow the swans. |
Penetration_Guru 08.02.2005 14:58 |
Fair enough. What did? ..and I didn't claim my team were better, I just pointed out yours remains shite, and will not improve with Gerrard leaving. |
Penetration_Guru 09.02.2005 15:50 |
Good example. Man Utd mainly youth side 0 Exeter 0 Exeter 0 Man Utd mainly reserves 2 Man Utd youth team justifiably criticised. How did Livepool do in the cup? |
DudleyFufkin 09.02.2005 16:09 |
At least Liverpool said before the game the fa cup wasnt a priority, 4th place in the league was. So we didnt have the arrogance to field a reserve side and expect to win the match, unlike man u, who thought they would brush aside a non league team at home with kids playing. How wrong you were. |
Penetration_Guru 10.02.2005 15:58 |
Any quotes to that effect? "We can't wait to lose" "Looking forward to getting into that losing habit ready for Southampton" And if it wasn't a priority, why put any of the first team out? |
DudleyFufkin 13.02.2005 11:58 |
oh dear, its not going very well for English rugby is it? Beaten by an awful french side. England have to rely on the kickers for points, and they still cant get those. Just goes to prove that Jonny Wilkinson won england the world cup.... |
DudleyFufkin 27.02.2005 15:31 |
Whatever has happened to England rugby team? They've lost their 4th 6 nations game ina row. Wales on the otherhand gave an amazing display of rugby against france to beat them in Paris. Strangely, none of this is in the news, although when england were winning, you wouldnt hear the end of it. |

It's just a case of England being bad loosers and not talking about it as they're a shadow of the team that won the World Cup. Everybody wants to beat England in all major team sports....colonial past, being superior and thinking they're the best in everything when in fact they're not! You only have to look at some of the posts in this thread....talking about football instead of rugby....deliberately avoiding the point and hoping that these distrctions will disguise the fact that the England rugby team at present is in total disarray and has slipped to 6th in the world rankings! |
DudleyFufkin 28.02.2005 14:45 |
Exactly. I think you are now my best friend. |
Leppar 28.02.2005 14:55 |
Yeah but.......................England won the football world cup.....................in 1966. (Sob) Why can't we win something at football recently. :( |
Penetration_Guru 28.02.2005 15:23 |
Still no sign of a football thread, though.....can't imagine why... |
DudleyFufkin 02.03.2005 14:46 |
Well you havent got much to shout about being a man u fan? |
Penetration_Guru 03.03.2005 16:04 |
I dunno, we're playing well, winning games, with a young settled talented team, the biggest stadium in the country, and to cap it all Liverpool are now 15 years from their last title. What more could we ask? |
