He'd probably be very thin on top too. There was a bald patch emerging in 86, more evident 89-91. Wether it had anything to do with his illness we dont know!
Hopefully he'd have been rehearsing for a tour!
I reckon Freddie would have left Queen around 1993/1994 to become a solo singer, and while Roger and Brian (possibly John) are off playing in local theatres, Freddie would be packing huge arenas.
I think Queen would go on tour whole 90s years and now Freddie would be at home more than before and he would be at rest. Sometimes he would go to studio. He would go to Ibiza and Montreux often too. Brian and Roger would do solo albums.
personally I think the group as a whole would have repeated the pattern of:
1 year recording new album
new Album release followed by Tour for rest of year and bulk of next
2/3 year break for Solo Projects
repeat.....
Remember what he said at Wembley 86? "We gonna stay together until we fuckin' well die" :) He wouldnt leave the band - i think they would still be together, doing albums and touring sometimes - just with more breaks - coz they would have not much to prove, and the whole thing would be a bonus / hobby for them.
He would probably go to Ibiza and Montreux often, and do other side projects - maybe some producing, maybe some art - who knows. It's a pity that we will never find out ...
yeah i think they would still be recording but can u imagine a 59 year old freddie? my god its hard to think! (reckon he would have given up the leotards!) but seriously it makes u think!
i agree with bellydancer i think freddie would most defiately produce music or do some solo work at the fact that he would still be infected with AIDS and be to weak to do much else...but i dunno freddie was a really tuff guy to have lived so long with AIDS anyway.
I can imagine him as an old man - but then I'm always imagining what people look like when they get older. It's a hobbie of mine when I'm bored.
Either if I ever have the patience, or if I bump into a particularly good artist, I want a pencil drawing of what he'd look like.
