Hello all,
I have been scanning eBay recently and have noticed that tickets for some venues, i.e. Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle. Are actually going for less money than they where to buy in the first place, when you take the rip off bucking fee into consideration.
It is mainly limited to the standing tickets but thats the best place to be.
So if i where you and you still needed a ticket get on there and get them quick, they are bound to get more expensive nearer the date but at the moment they are good prices.
I assume you know how ebay works. The 'low' prices you describe are just auction bids, with the auctions not due to end for days. I've been following the auction end prices for these tickets and they are going for 80% to 100% over and above the original price. Anyone who's hanging on, thinking touts are going to get stung and sell these tickets for a loss is going to be sorely disappointed

Dead right!!. This is an auction site with the spoils going to the highest bidder. Be very surprised if tickets sell for face value....they'll probably rocket to sky high prices before the deadline is over! Demand for these tickets will be phenomenal as it's a complete sell out in the UK with all other European gigs sold out or selling out very soon!
No one is disputing the fact that tickets are going for silly money, my point is that there are still some, for some of the venues going for reasonable prices you just have to choose your time and venue well. For example i saw tickets going for manchester for £128 for a pair + £5 p+P which is not much different to the ticketmaster price.
And if you where unlucky enough not to have tickets its a damb sight better option than some of the ticketing agencies who are charging megga bucks.

Just a word of warning to you all before bidding on ebay tix:
When you bid on tix there is not guarantee that you will receive vaild tix. 2 very common things that happen:
1. You are told that your tix are at "Will Call", when you try to pick them up you discover that they are not there
2. You receive tix in the mail, but when you try to use them, you discover that they are fakes.
Be VERY wary of this. I would hate for anyone here to be scammed.
