i often wondered the same thing, i do know it was not planned and the jacket he's wearing belongs to elton,
did you know freddie and elton fell out big style in the mid eighties,
arguement, stopped talking to each other for a while, then elton crawled back to freddie back stage at live aid, "roger said elton called them bastards for stealin the show in joke but rog laughed b/c he knew elton meant it,,
did you know freddie had a big falling out with rod stewart in 85 and at that time they hated each other(well documented), i think from what ive read there was alot of jelousy of queen by other artists,
do you know why freddie wasnt asked by geldof to sing on band-aid song 84? because "quote; peter freestone;" freddies voice would of completely dominated the song for how powerful his voice was, (thats more of a comliment really)
yeah - little bastards ... Freddie's voice was more powerful than any of them, and unfortunately when somebody is that much better, there is always lots of shitty jealousy ...
I read that somewhere:
Before Freddie died he had prepared a huge list of Xmas presents for all his friends. Elton John cried when he got his present (a painting).
-grapefruit (can't sign out from my sisters account)

Elton John tells this "moving" story himself in an interview, I've seen it as a part of few documentaries.

yea they became the best of friends again85-86 onwards till the day freddie died. elton was one of the privelidged few that still got the chance to visit freddie when he was really ill in bed, aparnt freddie used to get really happy when elton was visiting, And yea what a really sad story what elton told with regards to his xmas present what freddie sent him,
There's a lot of common stuff between Queen and Elton.
They were friends, they have had the same manager for some years (John Reid), Freddie joined Elton on stage for once, Roger and John played on two Elton's albums (tracks are 'Too Young' and 'Angeline'), Elton was one of the guys who attended Freddie before he died and Freddie's funeral and as you know only close friends could attend Fred's funeral, Brian/Roger/John performed with Elton on Tribute and Bejart Ballet Premiere etc. etc. etc.
You know all, I have read the whole page and the only question that comes to mind is....HOW DO YOU GET MAD AT SOMEBODY YOU LOVE? I'm sorry but I am just way too deep! And to top it all off I think I'm all that...And a bag of chips! Freddie rules and that's all there is to it!

And they were both gay and both of them did cocaine... now I'm waiting to get stoned :)
Well, when there is somebody you love, or if 2 people love each other, you kind of experct that person to be careful, take care of you, be nicer to you than other people, love you and never hurt you. You'd take alot from strangers, and wouldn't care, but when somebody you love does something like that, you get hurt, mad, etc. Exactly because its somebody you love who did it. That sucks, but its good to make up. People who love each other can make up easily. That could be the case with Freddie and Elton, and anybody who are friends, etc.
