Hello
I want to buy tickets for the concert in Prague. Mr. Scully wrote that tickets will be on sale today, but I can't find any site where I can buy them. Scully, can you tell us somethin' new if you know?
By the way, do you know any places to stay in Prague for 2 days? Any hotel, pension or somethin' with nice-price? ;)
waitin' for any news
I am also trying to get tickets for this and visited the various web pages today but still nothing.
Due the the lack of news I emailed the Queen Fan Club about a few hours ago to see if they had more info.
Jacky just sent me a response saying she is going to talk to the promoter and will get back to me.
So am waiting to see if she comes up with anything.
If I get any news, I'll let you know here.
Booked a hotel earlier in the week.
I've fancied visting Prague for a while now so when the concert was announced I thought, why not try and do both in one visit.
So I booked cheap flights + hotel from the UK for that weekend. Even if I don't get concert tickets I am still going for a visit, but obviously I am still aiming for the concert as well.
I booked the hotel through the same website I booked my flights. There seem to be plenty about. Its just a matter of how much you want to pay.
This is not an advert but if you are in the UK and want a few ideas try entering the dates you want to stay and Prague into this website : link
It contains quite a few suggestions of hotels and once you have a name you can always book it from somewhere else or directly.
No news about tickets in Prague yet. Looking every day for it. As usually, we are a bit slow, aren't we? :-(
If there is any change, I'll let you know. Or, I expect, Martin will be the first :-)
Actually it was Thomas Zeidler who came with the date (27th January), I just used it. I don't have any exact info but the local promoter still claims that the agreement is not signed yet - probably some minor financial issues. When the concert is 100% confirmed, the tickets will go on sale. It can be tomorrow or in two weeks, it's impossible to guess.
I'm in Prague very scarcely so I can't help you with hotels but I think you should be able to find a really nice accomodation for 40-50 euros per night.
Well, about accomodation. I'm in the same position as Martin is. Being in Prague only from time to time, I couldn't help too much with this. Maybe you should try to look here: link
There are a lot of useful informations including accomodation and links to hotels or hostels servers.
For hotel booking I recommend link
you can book in 30 languages and you don't pay in advance as on other online services. Hotels in Prague are expensive compared to other prices (food, beer!) but cheap compared to other capitals. When you bring your car you should book a hotel with safe parking because cars are stolen very often.
The promoters in the czech republic informed me that they haven't announced the gig yet. Guess they will start selling the tickets either on the rotterdam(29th) or stockholm (31st) pre-sale dates

Have they seen any of the emails/announcments from queenonline? They sounded like announcements to me. I guess its a lack of co-ordination between the Prague and general tour promoters.
Anyway its a good way of testing the water to see how much interest is out there.
Just hope we can get tickets soon...
Prague concert was officially confirmed today.
Tickets for sale from 8th February on sazkaticket.cz and ticketpro.cz (the latter one ships to the whole Europe, postage is 3 euros I think).
Seating/standing plan here: link
Obviously the best sector is the standing area right in the front for 1350 Kc :) I estimate there will be 1500-2000 tickets of this kind (these are always the hottest).
