Lets face it Bohemian Rahpsody is Queen. No other song is as imidiatly recognisable as Queen. Surely then it is expected to be played on the tour. Now don't get me wrong i think that paul rodgers is a good choice, the more rock n roll songs will be great. But will a voice like his work for songs like Bohemian Rahpsody?

Bohemian Rhapsody is the greatest song ever recorded....a monumental epic. For some reason, I'm not so keen to hear it on this tour. If it is played, they might skip all of it except for the final rock section. I really don't know on this one. Paul's voice is more suited to out and out rock'roll, blues, so more Brian May songs may be played. The more I think about it the more doubtful I become. I'm just going to enjoy Paul's singing and have a good time. If Bo Rhap is played I'll be very happy and bouncing off the roof.
I think most of Queen's material is noticably 'Queen', not just BoRhap. At least the hits, definitely, but also Fred's voice and Brian's guitar are definite signitures which identify a song as Queen.
Fred at the piano playing BoRhap is iconic. so, i agree that perhaps the rock section only if it has to be played. there's probably some good medley opportunities with old and post magic songs which could include Borhap

Amen.
Brian's Red Special & Freddie's voice are responsible for the very distinctive Queen sound and extends to all/most of their material. BoRhap rock section was played on Brian's Back To The Light tour as part of a medley......so yes.
I agree that pauls voice may only work for the end but i do still think that it is a song they must play. How can they have a Queen concert without it?
No doubt in my mind Paul WOULD indeed pull it off! He is a superb singer. He just doesn't sound like Freddie whatsoever (and he need not, as far as I'm concerned).
But indeed Bo Rhap should remain untouched for this tour, in my opninion. It just would not feel right. (And 'sure', they can play the heavy section, fine with me...)
