Is it true that Jamie Moses played the (excellent) guitar solo in the song Another World? I think Sebastian said that a while back. If so, that's a bit of a cop out by Brian, isn't it?
'All the way from Memphis' is excellent and the initial intro to 'Business' just makes me turn it up really loud.
Good album.
How people can say it isn't an album I don't know. Clearly they know more than Brian.
Jamie moses played guitar on the track"slow down" and he sounds good as for another world track it's all brian's guitar work it's obvious to hear his style of play ,as for another world it's more than a collection of nice songs it's a very good album only bettered by back to the light because of the single releases of it.
As well as 'Back To The Light' - a good album with one not damned good song (IMO, 'Slow Down' is good choice for B-side, but not for album) and some nice B-sides and hidden piano track (on
UK release and some others).
I wonder how many people know about the hidden track after another world if u listen to the last song and then i think it's well over 70secs of silence then the piano starts.
To me it sounds like a part of a new song or at least a demo of one.

Jamie Moses deffinetly played it live on stage as Brian didn't even have a guitar at that point. And you can here him introduce him on some versions.
I like that album! My favorites are Memphis, The Guv'nor, Wilderness,China Belle and that one that Jimi Hendrix wrote, except for I forgot its name. Golden Rose or something...
But I think the CD I have is strange...I listened to it for a while, I have it for almost 1 year, and the CD said that there were 12 songs in it, but one day, it was 13, and now there is a 13 song. I don't know it's name, though.
When this was released, I was so disappointed that there was so much material on there that had been released before in other formats or on other releases:
One Rainy Wish
The Business
Cyborg
All The Way from Memphis
Compare this against Roger's Electric Fire which was ALL completely new. I just felt that Brian had sold himself short.
5/10
Great album. It doesn't blow my mind, but I love listening to it.
Some people here seem to criticize it too much. Is it because there's 3 covers from other artists songs?
My favorite songs are 'Business', 'Why Don't We Try Again', and 'Another World'.

Compared to the quite good "Back To The Light"-album, this follow-up was really a letdown. There is not one song on it where I would say: Now that should be a single release.
I wonder why Brian's solo efforts went so downhill after the early 90s??

I agree. Another World seemed more like a compilation than a coherent album. Unlike Electric Fire, there is no flow and that makes it hard for repeat listening. A couple good songs, but too many mood changes for me.
