I've just found out Paul Rogers is from where i live (well im live in hartlepool but its still the northeast) Just adds another music talent from up here :op
From paul rogers web site:
"I came down from Middlesbrough, the industrial heartland of the North East of England, with a band called the Roadrunners",
Monkey-hanger!!
Should have done a concert at the Riverside (no-one else has ever done one there) - instead of us 'smoggies' having to to Geordieland and risk our cars getting nicked.
Brian likes to mention the 'hometown gigs' so expect Paul to pull out all the stops at Newcastle for all the North East crowd. I'll be there. He's a legend so he's in good company (sorry)

Lets hope we get a good show jimi
Is it me or is almost everyone one on this forum up there own arse, you tell someone a interest factand you get people like Linda Of The Valley & FairyKing just ripping the piss out of everything, you two would make a nice couple of arse holes
You don't know what SARCASM is. I was joking, man.
I can't wait to see this concert and I love Queen as much as you or even more.
I'm not pissing off, this is just me. I wanna play, fool joke...I'm sarcastic and I won't change for no-one, including You!
Peace
I also pointed out a fact...as useless as yours.
And, You tell Linda to say something nice and then you say her to fuck off...
You're pretty funny!
I don't like ppl who say nice things cos "they have to". We should say what we think, not hiding.
hey pal, I could be very polemic..at least i pretend to be. I'm latin, so I'm passional....
But in the end, it's just a joke to me, so stay safe, and forgive me if sometimes i hitthe hights!
Fuck off (lol..i did it again...sorry! :-P
so i'm gonna see it 1 month before you..i wish i could see more than a show but ship's tickets cost like the concert ones!
You'll surely know it all about the show, i'm not sure if i wanna have 'surprises' surfing the net for infos (tracklist and so on), or not.
What do you think?
i was going to go to the sheffield show as well but it come down to money and i cant afford two shows.
I dont whne to know the setlist until they play the song there, but i guess i'll find out somewhere the setlist
yep, i think i feel the same way.
for a deep purple concert i even knew the songs in play order..
but they surprise me the same, as the Don Airey (their new keyboard player) had a medley with a part took from a Sardinian folk song!!!
P.s.: seems like a huge family: my fave concerts were Robert Plant and Deep Purple; Paul Rodgers played with Jimmy Page and Don Airey played (also) with Brian May and Cosy Powell.
Queen-Led Zeppelin -Deep Purple...nod bad uh?
yea i went to see deep purple in Newcastle which was amazing.
and here is another interesting fact Don Airey is from near where i live aswell (Sunderland). All the great rock musicians come from around here :op
he's really really really great!
The only really famous guy from where I live i think it's Gianfranco Zola, a soccer player, lol.
I'm in an island and it's not so crowded, that's all :-P
