They do have something, but it isn't really a large tour. I think on the Works tour they played Wembley Arena and Birmingham NEC 4 nights each. So, really, they have sold out a small (by there standards) UK tour.

In fact they played 3 nights at NEC and 4 at Wembley as I saw all 3 at NEC. They still have pulling power and agree that this is a small tour by their standards. They wouldn't be seen dead at venues like Cardiff CIA, Brixton, in those days- too small!! The reason why it's all sold out is that many fans have never seen Queen live in any form before so there's a frenzy for tickets......along with life long fans like myself curious to know how Paul Rodgers will pull this off. This is a different Queen "tour" in many ways. A new chapter is being written for a new book. I'm looking forward to the show!!
it's a good result, considering than with their (fab) solo tours in recent years (AW and Electric Fire) the guys never played big places and rarely sold out. The Queen name has a strong appeal

Queen will always have a bigger appeal than any solo tour.
Being a 20 year old Queen fan this tour is an absolute treat, putting aside all the arguments about "paul who?" etc. I've looked at this as the first and probably one of the last opportunities I'll ever get to see Brian and Roger perform live. The icing on the cake would be John being there but I'm just made up to be seeing Brian and Roger at least. When I was on ticketmaster.co.uk at 10am on Saturday being told they were currently very busy all I could think about were the people who posted here saying they were going to each concert and how I wasn't going to be getting a ticket while some greedy cunt is going to be seeing them more than once. As it turns out I got a ticket for the MEN. £49.50 is a bit expensive but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, can't fucking wait!

Please don't flame me for this:
DOes anyone know where I can get tix for any UK gig, esp. one in/near London. I know I should not support the resellers, but I really really want to go to the UK. As it seems to be the most convenient place for an Amercian citizen to visit.

me too, im 25, this will be the first time i see brian and rog perform, yes sadly without freddie and john, but this is like a dream come true for me! i just cant wait! im sooooooooooo excited!
REALLY ANNOYED. i dont know how i missed every single ticket for the uk! I wont be supporting resellers, thus i wont be going with my friend. Roger and Brian have actually missed out cos they could have sold out Newcastle three times over easy. They just decided to concentrate on 'the world'/ I can only hpe they will come back down and do a UK tour soon, or else i really will never get to see them...
im 20 too! and i will tell you now you should listen to the free/bad company archive as you will not be dissapointed! Out of interest where are you lot from? i am from oldham and i am going to the gaga tribute concert at oldham colesium saturday 5th march. Tickets where a mere £14 each!
Hi you dont know me im new here . ny name is Natalie

Please replay its very important !!!

Natalie
You're forgetting one thing- all the tickets sold out without NAY advertisment whatsoever- no radio spots, no TV ads, no posters- haven't seen ANYTHING in London, apart from Evening Standard news...
There were large adverts for the gigs in the Sunday papers, but they may as well have put a note at the bottom saying if your reading this for the first time hard luck, sold out!
It's looking more and more likely that these are no more than warm up gigs and it's all part of a grander plan to get the shows into stadiums in the summer now that their pulling power has been established.

Agreed....... had the same feeling about a more grander tour and since additional dates are expected/fantastic ticket response(50,0000+ UK) ... a stadium gig seems very likely. I don't know when Paul Rodgers' tour of US ends exactly but a UK stadium gig might be on the cards. Millenium Stadium in Cardiff would be brilliant!
