i did that is the scariest movie i've ever seen...it's about a guy that has a wife and she mysteriously disappears..then a couple weeks later...the cops found her dead..then the guy jonathan(michael keaton)tries to contact her by electronic voice phenomenon(e.v.p)then odd things happen...see it 4 urself...i tried to turn the t.v. on the static channels and it scared me...i scared my mum with it too...she said''i dont want that shit in my house"!!!
My son saw it and said it was a pile of shit, and he usually likes films like this.

We should be getting it on pirate DVD because i've heard it's an absolutely excellent film. 5 teachers at my school have seen it and said it's brilliant. They were all scared by it!
I was very curious to see it, because it's actually based on the true facts and many stories surrounding EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena).
However, after both critics and audiences dissapointment with the plot, I decided not going to see it. Perhaps I might rent it when it comes out on video.
only thing i liked was when tha ghosts were talking...that's basically it...

I saw it.
A few of the jump scenes scared me (at one of them I accidently grabbed the arm of a stranger sitting next to me!) but the plot was kinda lame imho.
The reason it seemed lame was b/c i figured out early on that his wife was not telling him to save pple, she was telling him to STOP recording the EVP. What really scares me was the whole premise of EVP.
On a lighter note: The picture of those 3 shadowy figures that the main dude kept seeing in EVP, reminded me of that one Queen pic from the back of the works (the one with their shaddows) for some very strange reason.
It was okay, I saw it with two of my friends. That paranormal stuff has always been an interest for me. It had a few parts that kind of worried me but overall it wasn't too scary.

There's always rumours that some horror flick or other is based on a true story/true fact/whatever. Most horror flicks turn out to be crap in the end. By the way, a friend of mine keeps telling me to see 'The Grudge', is it any good?
I liked the Grudge a lot. I thought it was pretty well done. Better than the Ring IMHO
