Hello there!
I have a question.... someone please can tell me what year was recorded the song "Going Back" of the album "Queen in Nuce" with Freddie on vocals?
Tks!
Something I've always wondered about that album.
Is it an official release or a bootleg? I saw it in my local CD shop and bought it. Great album! Also what does the name mean exactly?

What is the oldest record of Freddie that I can found?
There's a bootleg of Freddie singing for a pre-Queen band, Ibex, at the Sink Club in Liverpool in 1969 (I can't remember the exact date). That's the earliest that I know about.
Not really....it sounds old and you can barely hear Freddie singing because the music is too loud. My guess is that the recorder was near the back of the club. I kinda like the music and it's a neat thing to have.
O yea....sorry I was talking about the Ibex Live at the Sink Club Recording.
The Smile Album is an actual studio album recorded by Smile to be released as a regular album. It is very good quality.
Queen in Nuce also includes a few studio Smile tracks. Email me and I can send you it if you like.
Tks everyone for the info :]
Very helpful
"Look beyond the Innuendo" you are offering to send via e-mail the "Queen in Nuce" tracks or Smile or Ibex?
I've got the In Nuce but I am really interessed on Ibex records.
Tks again!
Oh GOD, can you send me IBEX album? I will be really thankful if you do. My e-mail is mrporlock@worldgb.com
The IN NUCE I've already got, but tks too for the intention :]
I've heard that there are some recordings of Freddie, that he sang as a soloist but with a different name, can anybody help me to remember what was the name?
