I really desperately want to go to the Tour this spring. I'm in the US and I cannot afford a trip to Europe, but I could find a way if it was my only chance at the tour. How likely is it that there will be a NA tour? Should I pinch pennies and take the sure thing or cross my fingers for the NA tour??
I just want your thoughts on whether the NA tour is for real or just a pot of gold at then end of a rainbow.

Brian and Paul have hinted at the idea of perhaps touring here in Sept/Oct, so it is not totally out of the question, it seems. I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed!
I'd say the chances are better as of today..Brian has mentioned on his site that they are currently looking into booking some venues.
Also, there is word that some gigs are already lined up for early Spetember in Canada (read the "Canadian Dates" thread for all details).
I say it's looking better then it did earlier this month..but no one knows for sure. If the Tour in Europe goes well (which it more then likely WILL) they will get serious about playing on our continent.
What a grand day that will be....it's been 22 years since "Queen" last played here, unless you consider the Vegas Premiere gig.
I say BRING IT ON!
I'd say the odds are pretty good and better now than two weeks or a month ago. If I had to put a number on it, I'd say 70/30 that there will be a North American tour vs. not. My feeling is that if they can at all justify the tour from a financial standpoint, they will do it. I think Brian and Roger would very much like to and are enthusiastic at the prospect. And I'm confident enough about them performing in North America that I've tentatively set my two weeks vacation from my job for October.
Smart boy.
i think we all should seriously start making preliminary plans...JUST in case.
This could mean many US and Canadian fans blow off the OIQFC COnvention in the UK since it had to be rescheduled for September. Who knows though, if all works out we may get to see them live BEFORE going over.
I am staying put though just to be sure.

There's nothing wrong with buying tickets in advance, and I think that we people here in N.A. stand a great chance against say, the crowd in the Antarctic.
