Driven By You and No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young) - reminds me that he can sing as well as playing the guitar. |

No-one but you driven by you Sleeping on a sidewalk I think he's a great singer, but I don't think he could sing rocksongs like Freddie and Roger. But he can sing great :) |
Peta 15.01.2005 14:41 |
1. No-one but you 2. Friends will be friends (because he is a friendly and he likes people). 3. The Show must go on (he likes show, tour) Yes, Brian is a great singer! He has a soft voice and I like it. (he did not smoke) |

Soul Brother 15.01.2005 15:58 |
It simply has to be Long Away in melody (simple), solo (quirky little harmonic number) style (ballad), vocal (Brian), lyric (star chases for god sakes!). Yup - Long Away - it has Brian written all over it! |
1quen_fan 15.01.2005 16:28 |
The song Fat Bottomed Girls. He wrote it. |
killerxqueen 15.01.2005 21:29 |
Brighton Rock reminds me of Brian. I think he wrote it, but I'm not sure. |
DoctorNine 15.01.2005 21:57 |
Like ryancoke said... all songs remind me of Brian! But, then again, all songs remind me of all the members of Queen... |
My Melancholy Blues 16.01.2005 00:39 |
I love almost all the numbers written by Brian, but I choose them which remind me of him especially... Tie Your Mother Down White Queen Brighton Rock Teo Toriatte We Will Rock You |

I would seriously say though that those two along with "All Dead, All Dead," "Sleeping On The Sidewalk," and "No-one But You (Only the Good Die Young)." |
Little Queenie6 11.07.2005 17:23 |
I'd have to say '39. I love the way Brian's voice sounds, it's so clear and lovely. *By the way, I'm relatively new to the board, so hello to everyone! |
Mr.Jingles 11.07.2005 17:58 |
Obviously all songs written by Brian will remind us of him... However I have to say that 'Cold As Ice' by Foreigner reminds me a lot of Brian because the guitar solo has a very similar sound to the Red Special. |
mike hunt 11.07.2005 22:50 |
'cold as ice' is a good one, it does sound like something brian would do, also, a song by 'kansas' the name of the song escapes me, but it has brian written all over it, kinda like 'it's late' style. |
Grantcdn 12.07.2005 00:49 |
all the tracks he wrote especially Tie Your Mother Down, We Will Rock You, Love Token, No One But You, Sail Away Sweet Sister but also other Queen songs with incredible guitar solos which means most of the entire catelogue... |

Hands down, "Long Away" for me. I can't quite put my finger on why this song more so than others, but something about the tone, the lyrics and the happy feel makes me think Brian May. |
t.macin 13.07.2005 00:24 |
an antire album, he compiled himself recently "the best air guitar album...ever" I am not sure if thats exactly the name, anyway, The album has Brian´s favorites of course |

RohemianBapsody wrote: Too Much Love Will Kill you. Mainly due to playing it at the tributeI understand. Didn't he also write it? OT: On his site I think he has a wallpaper/picture of the Freddie statue with a line from the song on it, too. |

I think the point of this kind of topic is *not* to name songs written by Brian. How unnecesary it seems, to be naming mostly songs he wrote. This is a serious discussion? |
*goodco* 16.07.2005 10:20 |
uh....'Brian's Song' certainly does it for me |
leto 16.07.2005 12:23 |
