Anyone seen this movie? I saw it this summer and love it. :) It's known as a cult comedy so I was wondering. I love the Cat Stevens music in it. It's also has a bold message.
Also, anyone have thoughts on the film Dead Poets Society?

I have no idea what Harold and Maude is all about (better check imdb and Blockbuster then), but DPS is one of my favorite movies, and I watched it along with my high school buddies. Perfect coming-of-age movie, if you ask me.
Harold and Maude is fantastic, incredibly funny and the "message" is more important than ever: "if you wanna be you, be you"
The DPS is a bit on the Kitsch side for me but it's one of the better movies about the constraints you have to face as a teenager.
Btw, Happy New Year, Savannah :)

Harold and Maude is a great movie. It took me a while to start liking it, but after a lot of viewings, I began to like it a lot! Harold's mother is hysterical! LOL
How have you been, btw, Savannah? Not seen you around here for some time! :^)
I studied DPS in fifth form (GCSE, 10th or 11th grade) and I really liked it. It's really hard for me to understand why, when he's proved he can act, Robin Williams insists on doing puerile crap.
A friend of my family's mother played in that movie, and so it's too sad for me to watch when she kills herself. :( (Suppose I just gave away who it was ....)
:) I'm glad you like it too Alli. Happy New Year. I've been doing okay. Mainly working on senior year stuff and getting into photography. :) I'm going to my Governor's Scholar reunion in about 2 days.
Happy New Year to you too as well Barb. :D I'm gald to see another Harold and Maude fan. I like the message of it a lot too. Music is quite good also.
Thanks for replying you all, I'm glad to see some of you like the cult films that I do. :) hehe
