I know there are many new threads about what clips, etc things will be on the new DVD, but nobody discused the cover of the DVD, so this will be a good opportunity to use our imagination, and say what we would like the cover to be:
I want it to be the cover of A Kind Of Magic. And you?

it will be sommat from 90/91, probably from IGSM video
i agree
it wont be from A Kind Of Magic
It'll be from the Innuendo era, and not from the Made in Heaven era, because there aren't pics from the 4 members together in 1995
i think the cover will be something like this link
For the record, SirDidymus from the Queenonline forums created that (as far as I know). However, I think that's a very striking picture - it would work well as a cover.
Perhaps the "Bho-rhap style" picture that you can see in the GH3 boocklet and wich is the beginning of the "One Vision" video ? I know it's from the 80's but if they used it for GH3, why not for GVH3 ?

To some people the rule "first think - then speak up" should be applied.
Why would they use AKOM? Its an eighties song on Greatest Video Hits 2. So they cannot use it for a cover from 1991 onwards. I think it will be the either the cover from the Innuendo LP or the Made in Heaven LP. Something that sticks in people's minds (like the BoRap or the Miracle shot)
... and: the cover from Greatest Hits 3 wasn't from One Vision. The photo of Brian, Roger and John on the cover was from the Miracle photo sessions.
Sorry ... Freddie May ... you said booklet and not cover.
Anyway the GH3-CD was a wrong idea from the beginning. They had to use old photos because there weren't any new ones. The last hits where Freddie was alive were on Greatest Hits 2 (from Innuendo)... and there were no photos from Made In Heaven.
Yes I like the made up cover in the link, as I already said I reckon they will use a still from the IGSM video, as like they did with the UK edition of GVH@, here in Britain the most memoarble image of Freddie and Queen from the post-Miracle era is obviously this video...
Oh my god, the photo from BRIAN, ROGER and JOHN (not Freddie) on the cover of GH3 is from the Miracle sessions. It is the same photo as on the cover of the "I Want it all"-single.
The Photo of Freddie in the background is from the Magic Tour 1986. But only Freddies picture!!!

How do you figure? Freddie still has the full mustache in that photo, and he'd shaved it off by the time The Miracle was made.
My god you're an idiot. Just because all 4 of them were on the cover doesn't mean that all of their photos were from the same year.
If you've seen the cover for the single "I Want It All" (which can be found on Ron Buczko's website, link under the singles section), you'll see that the poses of Brian, Roger and John are the same, just slightly different because those aren't the exact same pictures used for the IWIA cover, just alternate takes from the same photo shoot.
And they obviously used a program like PhotoShop or something to edit the cover (which I like btw.), so it didn't obviously use a photo of Freddie from 1989, but rather 1986.

I should have thought about Photoshop... good match, after all.
But that said, watch the name calling, please. I was only six when the single was released, and it may not have been released at all where I lived, so there's no way I COULD have seen the cover in any case (nor am I inclined to go out of my way to look for pictures of covers, frankly), so how COULD I have known what it looked like?? The only reference I have is the pictures in GVH2 and Classic Queen, and those poses and the shots for the Miracle cover before they were combined.
I really like that idea of them all standing in the "Queen II" pose from One Vision but I don't think they'll use that cuz it's from the 80s.
The fan art one is great. Brian looks kind of pissed off in that one. LOL.

You're right, I know, but I was just HOPING it would be AKOM, 'cuz I love the cover drawing. Oh, and Barry's picture is ver nice. I hope it's Barrys pic! : )
While I think the fan pic from IGSM would be the best (that I can think of now, anyway),
I wouldn't mind a non-distorted version of the pic from the back of the Innuendo booklet. I don't have the LP, so I don't know where it would be in that package.
It's a pretty cool pic and I'm sure it was distorted to cover up Freddie, but there is no need for that now and he really didn't look too terrible.
