Easiest Song to Sing Along To
| Darling39 04.01.2005 19:12 |
I, as well as many of you, I'm sure, like to sing along to all my favorite Queen songs in my car. The thing is, sometimes Freddie just sings too high for me to follow. I can only hit the F an octave above middle C. However, some songs I can sing along pretty well to. I could never perform them with as much dynamic force as Fred, but I can do a pretty decent job at it. I was wondering what songs you guys think are easiest for you to sing along to. Some of mine are: Ogre Battle Killer Queen Seven Seas of Rhye Death on Two legs Save Me Leaving Home Ain't Easy (Brian songs are easy to sing) |

I have an easy time singing along to Seaside Rendezvous. There are so many songs that are good to sing to as well though. |

there are so many great songs to "sing along" to. for me, its more like the WHOLEalbum a night at the opera...... i have the whole ting memorized, almost the exact same waythat t is all done, so all i do is pop it in, hit play, and im on my way! |

I can hit very high notes. I can even hit a little higher than the b flat in Bohemian Rhapsody when Roger hits the note, "For me!" I do have a problem singing Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Teo Torriatte in the low notes. Other that that, so far they are easy to sing. |

I made a sad attempt to sing the "Galileo" in Bo Rhap and I had my friend rolling on the ground. But for Crazy Little Thing I can imitate Freddie's Voice pretty well. |

| Shane Jazz 04.01.2005 23:32 |
Without a doubt, it's Spread Your Wings.... |
| Little_Queenie 05.01.2005 03:50 |
I never had any problems with high notes, can sing very high, but I can't sing I'm Going Slightly May, it's too low for me:(( So basically I can sing almost every song.. |
| Teo_torriate04 05.01.2005 03:54 |
As the late, great Eric Morcambe (nearly) once said, I can sing all the notes to all the songs, but not necessarily in the right order. |

'Chaka chaka' from 'My Baby Does Me' background! |

Dear Friends.. such a great and simple melody and the lyrics are easy too... No hard to arrange it and play with your friends :) If you download Wanbasco's Karioky player you can transpose it and find the perfect pitch to sing with !!! I transpose a lot of songs a little bit down to sing with them.. But I think it's easyest for me to sing along with Brian and hardest with Roger... |

Radio Ga Ga Headlong Another One Bites the Dust WWRY/WATC I Want to Break Free '39 Prophets Song many more, but I'm tired of typing. |
| Gunpowder Gelatine 05.01.2005 14:57 |
Radio Ga Ga and I Want To Break Free aren't too bad. Somebody To Love is a little harder, but I love trying to sing it anyway! |
| KillerQueen840 05.01.2005 15:04 |
My voice isn't great but these are some the ones easiest for me to sing: '39 Spread Your Wings My Melancholy Blues Who Needs You Good Old Fashioned Loverboy I Want to Break Free Headlong Keep Yourself Alive Liar And a few others. |
| bassist08 05.01.2005 15:31 |
Wow that's tough. There are alot of good ones. I agree with the statement that Brian's are easier to sing along with. But, I love singing along with "Spread Your Wings". If you can call what i do "singing" I suck at singing! :P |
| Ozzy Queen 05.01.2005 16:25 |
I think that 'Good old fashioned lover boy' is easy to sing to. Maybe because its a great song with easy lyrics. And also '7 seas of rhye' |
| Zander05 05.01.2005 17:42 |
I'd have to go with Play The Game |

I can't hit the very high notes, but anyway, trying to sing a Queen song requires a very good voice training... Without problems, i've sung innuendo, and many tracks from that album (i have some troubles with the show must go on, which is the strongest track of that album). Also, some songs from MAde in heaven (A winter's tale and mother love), are slow, and doesn't require a great effort.... See ya, and keep singing! yeah! |
| Lady Cool Cat 06.01.2005 07:39 |
These are mine, then: Most all of Innuendo, especially Don't Try So Hard, and Mother Love, in Made in Heaven. And these songs are just my favorite to sing, mainly 'cos of the lyrics: Bicycle Race, Fat Bottomed Girls, and Fairy Feller's Master Stroke. |
| Lady Cool Cat 06.01.2005 09:32 |
mmmmm..... I guess it´s TSMGO,Leaving home aint easy and somebody to love.....oh! I forgot all about Barcelona and the fairy fellers master stroke! |
| Laura Killer Queen 06.01.2005 14:11 |
Yes well I am the world's most abismal singer so I can't really sing along to any of them properly but I always end up singing Killer Queen as it is my favourite Queen song. But yes, me singing = people running to their bomb shelters Lauraxxx |
| kohuept 06.01.2005 14:35 |
I have to go with the already mentioned Play the Game. I recently found how much fun it is to sing. I also love IWiA and FBG - after a few songs just to roughen up the voice. DoTL falls somewhere inbetween. |
| redyfredy01 06.01.2005 19:11 |
a list i am good at singing along to: My Melancholy blues Mad the Swine Keep yourself alive Scandel Princes of the Universe Under Pressure Love of my Life Who needs you It's late Fat Bottom Girls Don't stop me now Somebody to love Seven seas of rhye I want to break free Who wants to live forever It's ahard life Break thru tie your mother down Killer Queen |
| chiflaco 06.01.2005 23:28 |
Wow!! Some of you must have amazing talent. I find alot of those songs hard to sing. Maybe it's because I try to match FM, which is just ridiculous. I find playing them instrumentally, is much easier than singing them. I guess the easiest ones to sing would be songs like "I want to break free", "Radio Ga Ga". I guess there's a few more...but none that come to mind immediately. Has anyone tried singing the Innuendo stuff?...I find alot of those songs very hard to sing. With clever key transposing, I guess any song can theoretically be sung. But maybe it will lack the effect of singing it in the original key. |
| karen 07.01.2005 01:01 |
I love them all.... Mustaphaaaaaaaaaa!!! Even my 3 year old knows exactly when to come in with that first HEY! I always thought that Teo Torriate would be nice to sing in a group. |
| yellownymph 07.01.2005 09:29 |
I LOVE singing along to Queen in the car. And do you ever get it, when you're at traffic lights or something, and you become aware that other drivers are looking at you, or even that people can hear you? I crack myself up because of how loud I sing in the car. My favourite songs to sing along to are Play The Game Radio Ga Ga Ogre Battle Scandal (deeper and deeper and deeper insiiiiiiiiide!) |
| Lord Blackadder 07.01.2005 11:45 |
The Prophets Song!!! Don't be absurd. It's... "We Will We Will Rock You!" |
| Hildur. 07.01.2005 11:59 |
I think Killer Queen,39,mother love and more!:) "Mr.Kendall: Why Mr.Merrick, your not an elephant man not at all." "Joseph: Oh no?" "Mr.Kendal: Oh no..no you're Romeo." |
| frida365 07.01.2005 16:12 |

| nasty_queenie 08.01.2005 02:27 |
