I have the CD and I love it. I did find the DVD in a shop but they wanted 24 dollars for it. And as much as I adore the symphony and Queen, I don't adore them enough to spend 24 dollars on them :-P

in this shop I was talking about, everything's always been expensive. But then I discovered Sam Goody and their fair prices and I never looked back :-) Apologies for the advertising.

Is that when Love of my life, boh rhap, wwry, we will rock you and more songs are played as a one song ??
Then I have heard it.
The Queen Symphony is amazing. I think it's quite underrated by Queen fans. It's a work in its own rights and the first time that Queen music was transformed into a genuine piece of classical music.
Got this for Christmas the year it was released and its so well put together. Some of the tracks are heartwrenchingly beautiful and so sad. Id cry for hours listening to them. Can recommend but not if you are looking for queen cos this definately aint queen!
Yes, just got it on Boxing Day ($24.99 in Australia) - not exactly cheap but, hey its Christmas!!
Funny story. I was playing it that night & my Dad came over (he doesn't know much about Queen at all), sat down & said "this is lovely - I love listening to classical music" I let him go for about 10 minutes then told him it was the Queen Symphony. "Oh" he said. "Well it is very nice" So (when the part about Queen came up at the end) I gave him a crash course in Queen & Freddie etc...
He listened to the whole thing.
I think my favourite part of the Symphony would be the WWTLF violin solo. I literally stop breathing when the first note is played (don't worry, respitory functions resume shortly afterwords).
