yes another newbie...groan, moan, aghhhhhhhhhh im lydia, im 25 and iv read the vast majority of your threads so im going to try really hard not to annoy anyone by asking previously asked questions or starting pointless threads (apart from this one-please may i be excused i just thought it would be polite to introduce myself) obviously im a Queen fan i wouldnt say die hard but they are my favourites! im new to the internet and recently came across this forum, an opportunity to chat with like minded people....i hope! i will be on my best behaviour HONEST please be kind....im down on my knees....give me a chance! |

lol, you're VERY welcome here. Just a friendly word of advise, when you post sometimes the best intentions can get misunderstood. Not this post of course, but for instance my most recent post got more than a couple flames because people misunderstood what I was trying to say. I was pretty upset. But then after that some really nice people told me THEY understood and that I had a legitimate point, It was really nice of them. So basically the point is we're all mostly good here, and don't get too offended if someone disagrees w/ you or you're misunderstood. Sorry to babble on...WELCOME TO QZ! |

I am a newbie, too, and only "discovered" Queen about six months ago! So, as Queen was together for 21 years and Freddie died in '91 and it is now 2005, some fans have some 35 years of Queen knowledge that I don't have. At times I stop reading the bulletin boards because the comments are so snotty, but mostly they are fine. Even the so-called "dumb" questions sometimes elicit clever, funny responses. Once you get to recognize who the snotty members are, just skip over their comments. |
