but do you think queen lost a few fan's when they found out Freddie was gay. Cos i had a few mates who liked queen and when they found out Freddie was gay they stop listening to queen.
all i got was there was other music to listen to and the music world didnt start and stop at queen, which is true i like all types of music but queen will alway be my favourite band
being gay never hurt anyone's musical career
ask bowie, elton, george michael and countless others
there was even a rumour that John Lennon "experimented" with (then beatles manager) brian epstein

I think it shows that you didn't really like the music, you liked the image, if you go off a band just because the lead singer is gay.

That's what everyone says, but apart from always referring to Mary as his "girlfriend", he didn't seem to really go out with girls. And if he was a bisexual, surely he wouldn't have split up with her anyway?
This is a bizarre question indeed.
Well, not really. Bizarre is the fact that it is true for many. Really absurd, I mean, personally, if I listen to music, I care about the music, not whether its writer/performer is male, female, straight, faggot, criminal, beautiful, nosy, bender, drug-addict, alcoholic, bipolar, short-sighted, three-legged, or if it's a floating head
Whoops! Sorry i made a slight mistake. Ignore what was meant to be an answer but isn't. I went to post something decided not to and instead of clicking the back button i must have accidently clicked on post! I must be tired. Well it is 1:24 A.M. in UK now. When i come onto this website i just can't come off!
Bi-sexual or gay?
It doesn't really matter. Some male fans will use the term "bi-sexual" to justify their like of the band. As if it's not "as bad" as gay.
Who cares?
