Like alot of you out there, I have got fed up of the stupid questions from "various" people. SO... I have made a newbie questions topic. Here you can put all the questions asked by the ignorant - and answer them. Then we can be really mean if they are ever asked again. Write the question, and the answer, and then it can be banned!! :D |
Serry... 28.12.2004 14:57 |
It wouldn't work, they can't check Google, Queen sites, old QZ topics, so do you think they'd use one thread for their questions? I doubt... |
deleted user 28.12.2004 15:02 |
no no we put the questions that are always asked on here, and answer them. Then they would have no excuses. |
Serry... 28.12.2004 15:05 |
Okay! Roger is 55 years old... Now is your turn. |
The Fairy King 28.12.2004 15:06 |
Lol i think we should this larger! Like a in the form of a site! link or .tk hheehe ;) |
Scirocco1977 28.12.2004 15:07 |
YES, they are ALL gay! |
deleted user 28.12.2004 15:23 |
hmmmm this is turning into a sarcatic topic... well fine. Brian does NOT have naturally curly hair, he has ALWAYS curled it. (And wears a wig when he can't be bothered) Freddie did NOT die of AIDs, he is still alive. Rogers eyes are bleached blue, and John has NOT retired from Queen. Thankyou. |
Scirocco1977 28.12.2004 15:30 |
Oh come on, Dust-Biter, don't feel offended. It's much more fun this way =) |

sorry i just had to do it, people alway ask the same questions over and over, if they didnt we would have nothing to talk about. |
Sebastian 28.12.2004 16:13 |
Freddie's line in KQ at We Will Rock You DVD is mixed from another concert, Brian wrote Show Must Go On, Another One Bites The Dust doesn't say anything about drugs, Roger is short-sighted in the right eye. Oh, and my favourite song is '39 :) |
Scirocco1977 28.12.2004 16:16 |
lol... Actually, I listened to '39 yesterday in DTS-Sound... geeez, I really don't understand why I never loved that song so much as I do nowadays. |
LadyMoonshineDown 28.12.2004 16:17 |
Like they would actually post serious questions here.....nice try, but they are stupid in a different way, heh. Cheers |
The Fairy King 28.12.2004 17:19 |
I still think you're gorgeous =) |
dragonzflame 28.12.2004 17:31 |
Yes, we have all noticed that '39 is the 39th song. And yes, it most likely was intentional. |
brENsKi 28.12.2004 17:34 |
Linda i think i did one of these threads only two weeks ago still some people can't use the search button beofre posting their "original" ideas huh? |
deleted user 28.12.2004 17:43 |
Somebody (HeM?) already started a topic like this called the Newbie Bible. Did they listen? Nooo.. Good answer there Linda. |
Serry... 29.12.2004 09:13 |
Name of 'young Freddie' at 'The Miracle' video is Ross McCall |
bitesthedust 29.12.2004 10:30 |
Freddie died in 1991....no-one knows the meaning of Bohemian Rhapsody....the best Queen album is Sheer Heart Attack...Hot Space is terribly underrated....the best Queen song is Another One Bites The Dust.....don't know what John Deacon is up to.... |
Sebastian 29.12.2004 11:08 |
There's no way to know who infected Freddie or the exact date, we don't have photos of his dead body and according to Freddie, his friendship with Jacko was jeopardized by his success with Thriller. It's A Beautiful Day is from the Game sessions and Queen's Brian is not the Oz bloke who makes incidental music |
deleted user 29.12.2004 11:23 |
Bohemian Rhapsody is not about AIDS because it wasn't even discovered when Freddie wrote it Yes it is spelled Freddie not Freddie Everyone has a different song that is their favorite People like the 70's Freddie,at least from what I gather, that is the majority |
Fireplace 29.12.2004 11:23 |

And Mr. Robotto is a song by Styx, not Queen. Robbie's Let Me entertain You is a different track, and Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon is not a Kinks' cover. Oh, and Elvis didn't write Crazy Little Thing. In fact Elvis didn't compose |
Serry... 30.12.2004 18:14 |
'Who Wants To Live Forever' is not about AIDS nor Freddie. |

Hmmmmmm this is getting very confusing. Are we being sarcastic, lying, or stating the obvious? :( No, don't answer that.. |

Sebastian 30.12.2004 19:25 |
I personally don't feel bothered by those questions. Nobody has to know them. Yeah I know the google argument but I personally feel it's easier to ask a forum where certainly they can give you an informed decision, than visiting a random website that can easily be wrong. Of course, if I were a newbie and got insulted because I didn't know Elvis didn't write songs or because I didn't know Mr. Robotto is from Styx, I would certainly go away. |

So why newbies can't search previous topics and read some articles on Queen sites? Is it too hard? There's no problem in answering question, but when someone ask you per week about the same simple thing it makes people mad.Yes but it's not their fault. When a newbie enters he/she doesn't know if the question has been asked before. An organised FAQ would be useful, but still there would be people who would ask here, and there's nothing wrong with that |

- "A Winter's Tale" is not cover of the David Essex hit (2nd place at the charts at 1982) - Brian and John are not left-handed although of first footages of new (GVH1) version of 'Bicycle Race' video (there's mirror effect and it seems like Brian and John took they guitars in the left-handed way) |
Sebastian 01.01.2005 20:16 |
There is no BBC version of Black Queen John plays guitar in Back Chat but it's the rhythm, not the solo Another One Bites The Dust wasn't written for Jacko although it was him who suggested it as a single Tim doesn't feel any guilt for leaving, he's happy to have done it because otherwise there would have been no Queen The We Will Rock You "groan" is Brian from counting before making the stomp-stomp-clap percussion Brighton Rock intro is from a special effects album they got when signed with Elektra, Teo's ending is sung by the band+crew+friends. |
Serry... 02.01.2005 17:17 |
There are live versions of Roger's songs (which are present on Queen albums with Roger lead-vocal) with Freddie's lead-vocal on it - 'Rock It' and 'Modern Times Rock'n'Roll' and he sung a couple of improvised lines for 'I'm In Love With My Car' for once (Roger forgot lyrics). |
