OK this is for the French fans... Rumours for the moment but I heard by my "network" that Queen + Paul Rodgers will play at LE ZENITH in Paris on March 30th... Capacity 6000 Let's see... |
The Mir@cle 24.12.2004 15:16 |
It's good that they choose for such podiums. They cannot play a whole stadium mad anymore I think. |
Freddie May 25.12.2004 18:04 |
It is confirmed. You can already order your tickets here : link |
YourValentine 26.12.2004 06:21 |
That's incredible. I expected that the tour dates were announced officially on QOL and now we get the information from fans (thank you so much for that). 6000 tickets is not that much, I hope that all French fans who want to go will get a ticket. |
Khizzy 26.12.2004 06:32 |
Not bad... 6000 capacity seems like a lovely sized hall... I'm sure there'll be plenty of French Queen fans that will lap up the tickets! |
QueenSite 26.12.2004 09:15 |
I've been to the Zenith to see Prince 2 years ago, it's a wonderful place! A bit upset pre-sales are starting before Queenonline... |
tomnever 26.12.2004 15:02 |
Yes it's strange, only Ticketnet has tickets for the moment and not FNAC etc... (and I own 3 !!) I think I know why... Ticketnet is owned by Virgin Group (and EMI is Virgin)... Anyway, a nice venue, much better than Bercy, so it's very good news. Hope they will pack the hall and play another night ! |
Under Pressure 26.12.2004 23:00 |
That's a wednesday, if it were on a thursday or Friday, I would skip classes to go ... I'm considering doing that now .... even though it would cost me 1200. But I need to be in Paris for a while anyhow. I eat much better when I'm there. :/ I wonder if they'll announce more dates there.... |
The Fairy King 27.12.2004 10:00 |
MUSE played Zenith, Paris in 2001 result Hullabaloo live album+DVD! Placebo played Zenith, Paris in 2003 result: Soulmates Never Die Live DVD Evanescence played Zenith last year and result: Anywhere But Home live album + DVD! hmmm..... |
tomnever 27.12.2004 12:11 |
Yes it's true... And that's for two reasons: - the sound is very good - the French audience is the best in the world There's where I saw the best shows in my life (well, until March 30th !!): Pantera in 1999, and The Pixies in 2004... |
tomnever 27.12.2004 16:47 |
I bought 3 tickets, one for me, one for my girlfriend and one for my cousin, who make me discover Queen at the age of 4 in 1981 with The Game ! There is 4 categories : 44 euros seated, 73 euros seated, and 88 euros seated, or 60 euros in the mosh pit ! (not seated, front rows !) Le Zenith is a good venue, so you'll have a good sight wherever you are. But if you want to be close to the band, I recommand you the 60 euros tickets (that's what I ordered). Cheers. |
tomnever 27.12.2004 16:49 |
see link for a map of the venue ("technique" on the left) |
Banshee 28.12.2004 11:32 |
Those prices are okay........ if you consider what I paid for U2 and McCartney... |
Hankster 28.12.2004 12:31 |

cliffhowell 31.12.2004 04:13 |
I've just bought (I hope) 2 tickets, I say I hope because the Ticketnet website did not have an option for my country (England) when registering, I put England at the end of my address but the nearest I could find in the options was Ireland. Has anyone else had this problem? I've only bought the cheapest tickets because hopefully I'll get to see them in England, these are just a back up (unless the wife fancy's a romantic break in Paris!!!!). I've been allocated block T, does anyone know how good or bad this block is? |
cliffhowell 31.12.2004 05:35 |
Further to my post above: I've just checked my order on their website and it says "sorry, we don't have any order". I've also e-mailed them and had no reply. Everyone just be careful in case it is not genuine. I'll update this thread if or not I here anything from them. |
cliffhowell 31.12.2004 09:07 |
I've now had an e-mail reply confirming my order is OK. |
Norman 31.12.2004 09:23 |
My tickets for Paris came in the post today. |
cliffhowell 31.12.2004 10:03 |
When did you order them? What Block / row have you got? |
Norman 31.12.2004 11:53 |
I ordered them on Sunday 26th December. I got standing (DEBOUT). |
QueenSite 02.01.2005 07:13 |
Would you post a scan of your ticket? Just curious to know how it looks! |
Freddie May 02.01.2005 09:53 |
You can find à scan of the ticket here : link Merci Black Queen ;-) |
Norman 03.01.2005 13:25 |
My ticket is yellow not blue like that scan. The agencies are printing the tickets themselves so they won't all look the same. |
Pim Derks 06.01.2005 08:21 |
Just got a confirmation that my tickets have been ordered. Hope to get them next week :D |
Lisser 06.01.2005 10:40 |
I'm so happy for you guys that have tickets!! How excited you all must be!! I couldn't see that scan of the ticket. I'm at work and it gives me an access denied screen. Congrats to all that get to go!! I hope I get to go to a concert as well. I live in the USA so I'll need to pick some place I've always wanted to visit that Queen + Paul will be playing at. Sounds like a good excuse for a vacation no? :) |
Hankster 09.01.2005 05:40 |

Paris still has lots of tickets. Even in the standing erea! For anybody interested: link (German) is selling travelpackages to the Paris show. (But the hotel is pretty luxurious - hence the price of the package!!) |
[StArMaN] 11.01.2005 16:48 |
Not sure about it. Ticketnet is near to be sold out, and there's just only billetel network for providing the tickets. They are going very quickly, even without any promotion work. |
