Surprisingly several people I know are discussing the fact that Queen will be touring next year. Most of these people are not huge fans so it's obvious the word is out. Promoted properly this tour could do okay business. With a North American leg in the fall this could be like old times for Brian , Roger and Paul. Not sure about the name "Queen" but whatever sells tickets. After some initial skepticism I am in!

I also don't have much faith regarding the supposed success of this tour on the American side of the Atlantic. It could be more of a curiosity rather than a great comeback. We'll just have to see for ourselves, though.
Nah! Queen would loook cheap if they werew an opening act - a bit like when Iggy and the Stooges opened for Madonna in Slane. And as we all know, Queen are not cheap. There was a huge feature on Queen and their up-coming tour in the Daily Mail on Friday the 17th December but the Sun did not know that Deacon's first name was John. They had him down as Roger Deacon!
Was that John on UK Music Hall of Fame playing with Brian and Roger

Wow Bob.. what a GREAT idea.. I mean that is so clever to come up with Britney, Pink & Beyonce.. you are truly a genius.. :)
I know it will never be real Queen conserts but at least we get to see them and that may be my only chance to see them live :)

Got to agree with ya on that one!
AND ME!!
trust me. Demand for tickets in the uk will be huge. If Wembley stadium was available it would sell out no problem. I repeat, watch out,The milennium dome is a nigh on certainty for May bank holiday.
They will be lots of interest.. I think people are forgetting somewhat that it's not merely a "Queen" tour.. I think they'll play just as much of Paul's material from the likes of Free and Bad Company and also some Firm and solo stuff maybe?
So, there's going to be Paul's legion of fans from all his previous bands clambering for tickets too i'd imagine..
We all know that Queen without Freddie or John will not be the same. But I for one think it's great that Queen's music will be played live again by some of the original members.
I can tell you, if they come to Belgium, I will be there, no doubt about it.
