Hey guys,
What do you think the setlist for the tour will be? I hope it's not like 5 verisons of WWRY / WATC and RGG with a few versions of Bo. Rhap.! They should do some older ones like It's Late, Father To Son, My Fairy King for interest!
: )
And who the hell has the voice to sing songs like "Father To Son" or "My Fairy King"? Paul doesn't have for sure. I think there'll be "usual" songs which are not that difficult to deal with. "Radio Ga Ga", "We Will Rock You", Now I'm Here", "You Don't Fool Me" and stuff. There ya go.

Agreed ... that is one of the reasons why replacing Freddie (it is replacing HIM) as vocalist is ridiculous (it only worked on the Brian+Roger solo tours because they played solo songs plus a few Queen standard songs like Tie your mother down or We will rock you)
Another Roger (re) wrote: I hope they NOT use girls as backing vocals. Thats sucks big time. To me that would destroy the whole thing.
A band should be 4 or 5 members!
1.Vocalist
2.Drummer
3.Guitarist
4.Bass player
5 (piano/keyboard)
Thats rock'n roll. We dont need a familiy gathering on stage.
You're right. 4 members would be enough since it was enough back in the 70s. But if Roger sings another one has to play the drums... but on the other hand I'm in love with my car. A second drummer on stage sucks, like they did in the 46664 thing.
I hope John will be playing bass, but I think it will never happen :'(. And maybe they could use some Freddie back vocals, that would be nice!
Perfect Setlist:
1. Innuendo Intro (Freddie)
2. One Vision
3. Breakthru
4. Hammer to Fall (slow/fast)
5. Somebody To Love/Killer Queen
6. Seven Seas
7. Made in Heaven
Acoustic part:
8. Love of my life
9. Is this the world...?
10. Mother love/White Queen
Break
11. Brighton Rock (Guitar solo only)
12. Now I'm Here
13. I Want To Break Free
14. A Kind Of Magic
15. Under Pressure
16. Bohemian Rhapsody
17. The Show Must Go On
18. Tie Your Mother Down (without pianos!)/Headlong
19. Radio GaGa
20. We Will Rock You
21. We Are The Champions
22. God Save The Queen (maybe with some Freddie vocals)
Back Chat would also be nice somewhere...
...Remember, Paul Rodgers is the singer and will probably want to sing some of his songs too. I'm not sure it will be a complete Queen set list to be honest.

Hey, PAUL RODGERS will be the lead vocals, not Freddie. Do you really believe that he is able to do a good work with these songs? :D

Vocals? It's only instrumental, they don't have recordings of Freddie singing! :P
Check the Vienna 82 footage at your on fire DVD. And I have never heard any song by Paul Rodgers so I don't know.
BTW: Queenonline.com says that they're going to do both Queen and Paul Rodger songs. I hope they'll do some Miracle, Innuendo and MiH songs...:-S
I think some new songs to be made for coming tour and two? songs made for 46664 concert (I forgot those names) would be included.
From "Queen" original numbers, its set list would be somewhat similar to the one of Freddie Tribute concert. It would be unnatural for them to avoid "Somebody To Love" and "Bo Rhap" being so Freddie-like, so they would play them with gospel or other mixed choruses.
About Killer Queen...imho, it's a very Freddie-like song...only he could sing it with its own unique taste...
