Does anyone remember a feller name of Killer Queen .45? Whatever happened to him? (NOTE: Okay, yes, I confess. I began this topic at least partially because I am becoming a crochety oldbie who is thoroughly fed up because this board is on its way to hell in a hatbox. I am desperate for some of the other crochety oldbies to reply and commiserate with me so that it can be like the good ol' days.) |
Janet 12.12.2004 16:12 |
Yes I do remember him, but I don't know where he went or why he doesn't post anymore. David (I think), from the UK....I always enjoyed his posts. He was quite witty, and seemed like a great guy. |
Mr.Jingles 12.12.2004 16:31 |

Janet 12.12.2004 16:31 |

He was a huge Dylan fan, yes...and also loved David Blaine when he pulled that stunt in the box, if I remember right. |
Mr.Jingles 12.12.2004 17:00 |

~Silje~ 12.12.2004 19:28 |
David, yes. I really, really miss him. I think he went off to university and after a while he just disappeared - maybe he still lurks around from time to time, I believe I've seen him posting on rare occasions. Always liked his posts a lot, and I talked with him a bit in QZ. Even got a song written for me, so I'm anticipating the day he becomes famous for his songwriting. ;-) If you read this, David - I miss your posts a lot! |

Mayboy 13.12.2004 08:25 |

Fenderek 13.12.2004 08:30 |
Wasn't he trying to repeat David Blaine's trick with not eating for a while...? Maybe he's still on it...? :))) Course I remember him- one of the funniest queenzone posters EVER... |
Taylor-Mayed 13.12.2004 09:36 |

This is DeaconJohn, formerly known as DeaconJohn under a different registration, known as Olivia Deacon-John for a while before that, and known as DeaconJohn before that again... ..got all that? ;-) David Jones, the name rings a bell, are you a guitar player? Did we talk about setting up a bulletin board ages ago when I was thinking about making that John Deacon site? I could be wrong of course.... |
Queenleaf 14.12.2004 18:04 |
I remember him. But I haven't been around enough lately to know what happened to him anyway. But what happened to you, Mandy? You never wrote back when I got home this fall? BTW, I was in Cincy a few weeks ago and saw Riverdance. Really good, enjoyable performance! |
deleted user 14.12.2004 18:28 |

Didn't KQ.45 end up in Israel? I remember there being a poster a few years back who said (s)he was going to be living in Israel, and wouldn't be posting on Queenzone "for a while/long time". Maybe it's me, but I thought KQ was that same person. |
FreddiesGhettoTrench 17.12.2004 16:29 |
I miss him as well :( |
deleted user 17.12.2004 20:35 |
KQ. 45 was David from England...not a female living in Israel... |

Killer Queen .45 02.01.2005 19:29 |
*Phew* Quite blown away by this to be honest, thank you all very much. It's like I've won an award. I am in Lincoln university at the murment, finishing my degree in Games Computing. I’m in my third year now. Huh, it’s okay. I’m not a woman (anymore) and am still a big Dylan fan, but I’m not a huge Blaine fan anymore. Dylan does not suck! I’ll give you Blaine though. Incidentally, Silje, actually I am quite a famous songwriter, you may of heard of me, my name is Edward Grieg in some countries! I am still playing my guitar and have now taken up the keyboard too. Been playing a few months now...no sonatas yet. My MSN address is dbyrne17@yahoo.co.uk, if anybody is interested in catching up. I’m normally on there. I don’t mind publishing my address, that’s one advantage of the MSN blocking system. A *bow* to Barry for complimenting my Stan song. I still remember that, kinda. And well done for remembering that Blaine trick thing that I did, trying to go without food for a few days. I’m still doing it now, 1 year on. I’m very hungry. I've not been to Israel. No, I’ve been to Ipswich, but never to Israel. Yes, I’m sure I mentioned it during the 2 years I was here - I was not a female living in Israel (as Miss James says!) and am still not one. I don’t think so anyway. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be here more often now, I've decided to get into Queen more than I have been recently. I watched that recent 'The Making of BoRhap' and that got me thinking back....good times. So much for the amnesia pill. ;) Right, see you all around then. David. I am a man! (One of the failed Little Britain catchphrases) From England! Bournemouth! |
veronica58 02.01.2005 19:57 |
Hitman: yea i think that photo was taken in my lil' sister's room where she had this bandanna on the door. there's a more recent pic somewhere in the fan pics section on this site. |
