my dad was calling queen fags,he said"they're gay and fags!!!"so i got so pissed off and said"SO R U!!!" i was on the fone with a friend at the time and she was like,"what's going on?"i say,"i just called my dad a fag nothig else!"i hate it when peeps do that it gets me pissed!!!
I have been there a few times, my mom would always throw the fact that Freddie died of aids because he was gay.. and I looked at her and said, well.. at least you will die of a more common disease.. LUNG CANCER. and she slapped me hard..

- I'm pretty certain that if either of my parents said anything disparaging about Queen or my other interests, I would not say something as disrespectful as what Megamike said. But then again, I am not one for retaliation when it concerns my own parents.
While I don't quite agree with that I usually follow that principle. Yep, I live an extremely tautological life. And also the wrong use of 'tautological' life too!

I totally agree with you on that one Caspar. I still think that what MegaMike said to his mom was too harsh, although he indeed had the right to stand up for what he believes in, he went a bit too far.
For instance, my great grandma is considered by many of my relatives the most person respected person in the family. Even though her whole life she's been a liar, a manipulator, and a hypocrite. I for once I have very little respect for her, and I don't show her the respect other people think I should show her.
Just because someone is old, doesn't mean they deserve respect. You gain respect by having integrity and being a role model towards others, not for being one year older.
