I am with you, willem-jan. I hate these commercial pop Christmas songs with all my heart. It's the worst thing about this time of the year that you are tortured with these crappy, false Christmas-cash-in songs wherever you go. |

you have to admit that a lot of people's Christmas decor is TACKY. All that fake snow sprayed all over the windows...horrid yard decorations and blinking colored lights. Now I have seen some beautifully decorated homes, but most that I see are an eye sore. |

Oh, my family watched the Clay Aiken Christmas special last night. LOL, we didn't even get half way through and we decided to watch something better. We flipped it to that new Giligan Island reality tv show thing..I only saw a few minutes..and I think we missed quite a few episodes..it looked neat, though. |

I prefer the traditional ones. Always always always my favorite: The Vienna Boys' Choir version of "The Little Drummer Boy." First three or four notes are all that are needed to make me melt. |
KillerQueen840 09.12.2004 20:46 |
David Bowie has a great version of, "The Drummer Boy." |

My faves: O Holy Night Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Christmas Time Is Here (from Charlie Brown), and the entire cd, actually! And I agree, Christmas has become far too commercialized in terms of the music as well as gift-giving. Doesn't anyone just simply enjoy the company of their family anymore? |
Mr Coolest Cat 10.12.2004 14:40 |
Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul MacCartney Merry Xmas everybody - Slade I wish it could be Xmas every day - Wizzard Driving home for Xmas - Chris Rea Jingle bell rock - Chet Atkins Last Christmas - Wham Do they know its Christmas(84) - Band Aid |

But it is nice to have my siblings home for a bit. As far as gift-giving goes, my gifts are usually either hand-made, edible, or both. Good tradition - I don't have to spend more than I can this way. |
