.... all these 'queen' items that are on e-bay.. half of them probably arent things which belonged to members of queen. it so easy to say, tooth brush left at a london hotel by brian may! .. when it isnt! sorry incase any of these are there real items, but im just trying to say its becoming ridiculous and people will be making money from selling "queens" items. sorry, but my ass that, that is freddies tooth! .. its just like i said about brians tooth brush. there should be evidence to at least show whether it is offially his. err! nevermind though, happy bidding to those of you which do! love queenie x x (*merry christmas everybody*) |
deleted user 08.12.2004 14:28 |
p.s. im not on about things like queen cd's, its just personal items, freddies 'tooth'! etc |
queen_forever_87 08.12.2004 14:33 |
You are so right Queenie!!! |

thanx queen_forever_87 .. lets hope the people which fall for it see our point of view! |
deleted user 08.12.2004 14:46 |
It is sort of stupid... And sad too, I mean if you want something genuine, how do you get it? There's absolutely no knowing whether it's real or fake. Although it doesn't help when the item is something ridiculous like a tooth! |
deleted user 08.12.2004 15:11 |
i know .. but i do believe that freddies yellow jacket was geniune.. because i cant remeber whether i read something on brians website.. i dont know! also, gmtv (uk morning breakfast show) .. put on ebay a banana kate gallaway held up. and it sold for loads! anyway, they spoke about this on the show and then within a few days there was loads of bananas and fruit that apparently was seen in the fruit bowl on gmtv.. i mean, people are making loads of money for a fake item! if it was genuine thats ok, especially if the money went to charity! queenie x x |
deleted user 08.12.2004 15:25 |
You're right Queenie it is starting to get ridiculous now. People trying to sell items such as freddies baby tooth which probably wasn't his. In fact i can near enough say it definately wasn't his. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 15:29 |
yep.. also, if you were a real fan of freddie and queen, why would you want to sell items which arent theres.. your being really deceiving and your offestly not a real queen fan. does anybody actually have any real items on e-bay? not fake ones? if so, and your going to show them on e-bay. at least show evidence its genuine .. because of the replys ive had on this board show people agree with me and they offestly wouldbt believe its genuine! queenie x x |
Serry... 08.12.2004 15:35 |
After first Brian's coming to Russia thousands of 'his' autographs appears here and a lot of Queen fans started to trade them... Most of those autographs are fakes, of course, and it's very sad that it sales by Queen fans... |
deleted user 08.12.2004 15:39 |
i know, it is being really nasty, and how can people make money by something which is so fake and un real.. real queen fans dont do things like his. I say you should only by something if it on brians website or a competition on tv . .anything liike that but not anything on ebay which doesnt say it is genuine and offical. anyone agree? |
deleted user 08.12.2004 15:50 |
yep.. also, if you were a real fan of freddie and queen, why would you want to sell items which arent theres.. your being really deceiving and your offestly not a real queen fan Queenie what do you mean? Do you meen i'm being really decieving and i'm not a Queen fan or do you mean the person selling these items on ebay. |

deleted user 08.12.2004 16:06 |
would this be breaking the law in anyway? selling false items? this is going to sound stupid if it isnt.. ?!? |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:19 |
I'm virtually positive that it's agaist ebay's rules, but unless there are complaints the auctions aren't usually closed. It's usually pretty easy to tell if these items are fake tho. Just reading the seller's feedback and the other items they have for sale can usually tell you. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:24 |
yeh, but if its in ebays rules, then dont you think they should stop it from happening? - p.s. im not sure if it is in there rules, thats why i said if.. before anyone complains! lol |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:44 |
actually.. does any one know if it is a ebay rule? |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:48 |
course i dont mean you, i mean the people who sell the items on ebay, sorry if i offended you in anyway... but do you get what i mean? its being an unfaithfull queen fan if you sell on ebay and other sites items which you are pretending are/was theres when technically they arent/werent! does that make sense? Ok thanks. You didn't offend me. I do see your point about ebay though its bloody ridiculous. I wish people wouldn't sell a load of lies over the internet. Freddies baby tooth for example. Thats definately not true. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:50 |
oh my god, this really is getting to the point i am trying to make.. look at: link how ridiculous!! its being auctioned on ebay .. how stupid! its so unlikely this is true.. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:52 |
yep i agree .. its lies! sites like ebay are good.. but not when people sell false things .. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 16:54 |
Its stupid isn't it Queenie. I think i have seen some real Queen stuff on ebay before but what i'm seeing now is ridiculous. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 17:03 |
yep, and most of it is false! its not only queen stuff im on about, i mean like i bet half of the stuff on ebay thats being sold is fake and not really what it says it is... i.e. freddies tooth - oh yeh course that is freddies tooth! infact it says baby tooth! somehow i think freddies baby tooth would have been lost by now.. and how would have bought it from his home town over to the uk? yep it must be fake! |
deleted user 08.12.2004 17:24 |
dont u think |
deleted user 08.12.2004 17:29 |
Very good thinking. How would it have got from Zanzibar to England? As you say its not only Queen items that are false on ebay as i am a huge video collector and must now have over 900. A couple of times on ebay there tend to be things that arn't true about some of the videos people are selling. Also other odd things i've seen on ebay are stuff like a beer mug drunk out of by Rik Mayall and signed. Bollocks. There was a comment on the Rik Mayall fan club about that saying it was a load of lies. p.s sorry if you dont know who Rik Mayall is. I've also seen stuff on ebay such as famous peoples tooth brushes or bed covers etc. It get on my nerves when your on ebay trying to look for good REAL items that EXIST and all you see is crap crap crap. Some things on ebay are ok thaough. |
deleted user 08.12.2004 17:40 |
also it so annoying, you are looking for stuff you are intrestes in, but nowadays, ebay is kind of getting out of hand .. you dont know what to believe, like whether the item is genuine or fake.. its so ridiculous! and really gets on my nerves.. i know freddie would have lost all his baby teeth .. but still his parents wouldnt have kept them this long, and if they did they wouldnt give them away, they would keep them as it'll remind them of freddie.. because.. i dont keep my teeth! and even if i know if im going to be famous, i still would'nt have kept my teeth to give them to a friend of a friend or what ever it said happened on ebay. I would want a stranger having my teeth! and letting someone else get the profit! .. what do you think freddie/queen would make of this? |
deleted user 08.12.2004 17:42 |

Dont worry i know what you meant. We all make small mistakes sometimes. It is stupid though some of the stuff you find on ebay these days. Any way I'm going to bed now because i've got work experience tomorrow so i need sleep. Speak to you soon Queenie. |

redyfredy01 09.12.2004 07:19 |
i agree with you queenie, they could be just making money off of people when it could be just some random person's toothbrush. |
Whatinthewhatthe? 09.12.2004 15:17 |
If someone can sell a ghost and a cheese sandwich with "the vision of the Virgin Mary", then maybe the next thing you'll see is someone selling the Brooklyn Bridge...at $1 beginning bid (and a reserve auction, don't forget that!). I'm still laughing about that bulldog clip auction! |
deleted user 09.12.2004 15:47 |
I use ebay a lot but I never buy autographs or rare stuff b/c like 90% is fake. And I never bid on an auction where the seller's feedback is below 90%. It's such a shame that some people are always trying to take people's money. It really ruins it for the people who are selling genuine things. |
karen 10.12.2004 00:03 |
I've never had any trouble with e-bay, but I've only bought cd's, badges and books etc - a great way to get good Queen stuff. Who keeps their baby teeth anyway? The tooth fairy has them all... |
iGSM 10.12.2004 00:32 |
I've bought about 5 things off eBay. Freddie's solo album, the single of Nazis 1994 (red vinyl), Queen guitar picks and a couple of other things which I can't bear to remember...games probably. But this is pretty stoopid. Stoopid indeed. |
MadeInMadhouse 10.12.2004 09:24 |
OH Freddie or Freddie's religion was THE ESTRATEGICAL ONE!! Freddie was buried, imagine if Freddie was from the other religion, with the normal sepulture, there will be many part of his body in the special offert.. for selling... wow how sick like a terror tale.. |
deleted user 10.12.2004 13:00 |
yeh i look on e-bay to buys stuff... but i really dont know whether the stuff is genuine anymore.. alot of it is fake! has anyone bought/know anyone who has bought anything from e-bay which isnt genuine? Queenie x x |

If you respond Queenie i'll respond back maybe tomorrow if i'm on the internet. I'm doing it at a pet shop in a town called Burgess Hill called, Feathers and Fins. They sell birds and fish. |
LadyMoonshineDown 11.12.2004 20:46 |
Yeah, but what are we going to do about it? File a complaint? Oh wait....leave that up to NOTWEMEDDLE, I'm sure he'd come through on that one. ;) (by the way, I love you, lol). I'm not saying that I think they are real or anything, but there is nothing we can do about the items that offend some of us. I know what you mean Queenie, but it isn't a big deal. I have a friend who put up his god damn signiture on ebay, so trust me...there are lots of stupid stuff going up. cheers |
