Since "discovering" Queen six months ago, I have amassed 4 vhs's, 7 dvd's, 5 cd's, 7 books plus one on the way, 1 12" vinyl, 1 banner - mostly over eBay and some at our Best Buy stores. I think I am addicted! Any opinions about which dvd is the best from the South American tours? So many of the various releases have the same songs on them, especially the We Will Rock You show. Even so, I love them all and find it fascinating to view the many changes of Queen over the years -- the hair, the costumes, the same songs but done in different ways. I watched volumes 1, 2, 3 vhs's of the Magic Years last night, again. Pure delight!
Sao Paulo or Buenos Aires. Caracas is in pretty bad shape. Sao Paulo is better quality than Buenos but Buenos is a better performance. So its a bit of a dilemma. Or you could download both of them
I think Buenos is better simply because it was shot better. In Sao Paulo every time you see a shot of the crowd it was filmed either before or after the show, I asume this was because of a lack of cameras, it always looks kind of odd. You can find some really good quality versions of BA if you look hard enough.
