Well, my title really has nothing to do with what I am going to post, but whatever.
I was reading a Rolling Stone magazine *I know, I know, shame on me* because it had the "35 most influential artists in the past 35 years" or something like that. So, I read it, and figured that Queen would not be on there. And boy was I RIGHT! Instead of becoming utterly angry at the fact that NIRVANA was in there, I channeled those emotions into a better way of thinking.
Rolling Stone is stupid. It praises Madonna and her contribution to making society more of a puke hole, but that is okay. Why? Because it's opinion, and everyone has some kind of influence over them. For us cool people, heh, Queen has influenced us greatley. However, the rest of the media does not care about personal judgement, but rather 'Who was the most popular in a generation?' I agree with most of the choices in there, but I was appalled with several as well. So then.....there was 500 greatest songs, and of course, Queen was in there. If they weren't, I would have killed someone with my assault rifle (but of course, I am no angry person). We Will Rock You was at 330 I believe, and Bohemian Rhapsody was at 160. It's about time the fuckers got it right. so anyway, enough about my stream of conciousness.....my point was.....um...my point was....uh....
to get you guys to reply like you were my little bitches.
Cheers
