QueenZone discussion #434641
Oh Dear
| LadyMoonshineDown 06.12.2004 01:23 |
Put a check mark next to each statement that applies to you. -I hate Freddie. That is why I come to this site, because I loathe the gay bastard. Damn it all! -I do not like any Queen song that contains the letter 'A' because most likely, it is overrated. -I think Brian May is a sucky guitarist. -Queen's "talent" is nothing compared to the compostion of Jessica Simpson's songs. -Britney Spears has a better vocal range than Freddie ever had in his career. I checked every single one of these statements because they applied to me. I come here because I hate Queen. I waste my time on here because I am no true fan of their music. There is no better way to show how much you hate a band then to go to their official site and immerse yourself within the forums, don't you think? Cheers |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 01:28 |
Crap. Drowse and Brighton Rock. |
| LadyMoonshineDown 06.12.2004 01:28 |
What? Cheers |
| Gunpowder Gelatine 06.12.2004 01:35 |
Don't forget Hilary Duff. She has a wider vocal range than Freddie and Britney Spears combined! |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 01:49 |
Oooh, and Too Much Love Will Kill You! Cool! Tie Your Mother Down, You're My Best Friend, Tenement Funster. Cool, an 'a'-less CD. |
| Gunpowder Gelatine 06.12.2004 01:58 |
Wow, there are actually a lot of 'a'-less songs. Under Pressure, The Show Must Go On, Somebody To Love, Princes Of The Universe, Killer Queen, Don't Stop Me Now, etc. That's definitely an insane idea for a mix CD. |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 02:19 |
It'd be harder to find an 'e'-less song. Edit: Then again there's You and I, Long Away, A Kind of Magic, '39, Good Company, How Can I Go On, Living on My Own, Back Chat, Action this Day, Cool Cat, Don't Try So Hard, Bijou, Mustapha, Fun It, Foolin' Around, Mr. Bad Guy, Doing All Right, Liar, My Fairy King, Flash, Radio Ga-Ga, I Want it All, I'm Going Slightly Mad, T, Thank God it's Christmas, Dragon Attack, Coming Soon, Party, Khashogis' Ship, Rain Must Fall, Scandal, Was it All Worth It and I Go Crazy. But that's only a couple, heh. |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 02:38 |
Oh, and Brighton Rock. But you already knew that. |
| dragonzflame 06.12.2004 02:43 |
'39 is an entirely letterless song and is therefore the one for me. I don't like songs with letters in the title. And did you know it's the 39th song? ;-) |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 03:56 |
YES! I mean yes. Technically 3 is a letter. I us3 it all th3 tim3! WARNING! I'm AN IDIOT! And Australian..that makes me 9 times badderer. |
| LadyMoonshineDown 06.12.2004 10:51 |
Woo.... Yeah. I absolutely hate Queen. They all need to die....the rest of them that is. Oh, and I agree with you guys. Hillary Duff is so much better than everyone, that's for sure. Cheers |
| deleted user 06.12.2004 11:34 |
I think theres more people on this site that hate queen than the actual fans... |
| Wouter 06.12.2004 12:31 |
There should be some site where you can register as a Queen fan. And then we call it link, and we add a set of rules that you'll have to agree to before you can call yourself a true queen fan (such as: I will buy GVH3 on the day of its appearance; I will never say a bad thing about Queen; and I will strike my vengeance upon anyone who dares to say something slighty critical about Queen), and anyone who does so, gets a stamp saying: I am a true Queen fan (and two tickets for the musical). Only fans with a stamp should be allowed on this forum, off course. |

Hmm, suppose that if I started a thread about "I want to break free" being about a convict wanting to escape from prison, it would get a lot of replies telling me that I'm wrong... Man, I love sarcasm... |

Sounds like you've got a case of the munchies. |
| SergeantPepperDG 06.12.2004 21:18 |
Have any of you ever played Sims Houseparty? They have this "bubble machine," that's OBVIOUSLY a four-way hookah, and the people sit around it and blow bubbles, and they giggle and talk about peace and flowers. Then they sit around the campfire and sing "Kumbaya." I played Sims for three hours with my friend yesterday. |
| Lester Burnham 06.12.2004 21:19 |
Yeah, I "played Sims" last night, too. *darts eyes paranoidallyallylalayglaylgy* |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 21:24 |
Whoa, that's like, so last week, girlfriend! That, like, sentence; had too many, like, commas and like, even a semicolon, like. The Sims 2 is teh better. |
| SergeantPepperDG 06.12.2004 21:34 |
I want Sims 2. But my mom said that if she got it for me, she'd never see me again. |

*I love watching ignorance unfold, when this is clearly a parody thread. The stupidity of some Queen fans never ceases to amaze me. Carry on, ignorant ones!* THANK YOU! I went to work thinking "Gee...no one will post on this." Boy, was I fucking wrong or what? It's good to know that when I get back from a long day, I have a bunch of stupid ignorant people thinking I actually hate Queen, and yet have those who understand my dark sarcasm. Ahh, such is life, lol. Thank you to those who are smart enough to realize the difference.... This newbie, Messenger blah blah whatever their name is....I applaud you. It isn't easy for someone to post an entirely serious post reprimanding someone who wallows in sarcasm. *claps* Thank you for bringing back the secret loathing of newbies I had once tried to rid myself of. I think some of us (smart ones anyway) will tend to agree. cheers to you all. You make my day. |
| Lester Burnham 06.12.2004 22:03 |
Stop straying off tangent, you! We're talking about The Sims here. |
| LadyMoonshineDown 06.12.2004 22:10 |
Ahh yes. Nevermind the post I made in the begining....was that a tangent all along? Well, cheers to you, lol. |
| SergeantPepperDG 06.12.2004 22:14 |
Did you know that if you enter the cheat code "move_objects on," and you make a Sims character take a shower, you can move the shower out of the way and the pixelations aren't there! So the character is naked (but still taking and invisible shower) And guess what? *whispers* Male Sims have no genetalia!!! |
| LadyMoonshineDown 06.12.2004 22:18 |
Either does Lester....lol. Just kidding mate, I love ya. cheers |
| iGSM 06.12.2004 22:18 |
I did that once. And then was shocked to see my Sims naked. Specifically me. So I put some clothes on. Then I went back to the U.S.S.R. |
| SergeantPepperDG 06.12.2004 22:22 |
It's also fun to set their house on fire and trap them in it! The last time I played Sims (with the same friend) we both discovered sadistic sides of our personalies that we never knew existed. Especially me. |
| LadyMoonshineDown 06.12.2004 22:24 |

| LadyMoonshineDown 09.12.2004 23:06 |
Haha...no, it wasn't. We aren't newbies here Mike....give us a break, lol. I did a complete satire 'list' of checkoffs that applied to you. I put things like "Brian may is a sucky guitarist", "Queen sucks", and blah blah blah. I was totally being sarcastic and said I checked off all of them, cos you know.....someone who TRULY hates Queen will keep coming to their official site, eh? lol. Then there was a feud, especially between MarchOfTheDirtQueen and some relatively NEW people around here. Funny thing is....I got caught up in it, and I HATE getting in arguments....especially online. So woo....now it is random, and basically just us posting. Whew.. that saved me a lot of time reading what went on.. of course I do remember agreeing with you on your list.. and saying that at least someone finally said what I had been thinking all this time.. Now getting back to my idea.. Do you think Freddies ass looked big in that mini on IWTBF? and I really think Roger needs to shave his legs once in a while.. What a bunch of tossers.. my god.. we Americans are AGAINST that kind of stuff, we will fight to the end to prevent that kind of crap from appearing on OUR TVs.. | LadyMoonshineDown 09.12.2004 23:34 |
Hahaha Yeah....Freddie's ass was sooo big, lol. And Roger was just plain hot.....haha. Hey, I know this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off topic, and should probably go in the personal section, but this whole post is totally nonsense, so what the hell?! Who did you vote for in the Presidential elections? I am just curious, haha. Woo, nothing like randomness to fill your day, eh? Cheers |

Right on. Yeah....I was for Nader in 2000. My bad. But it probably would not have been so great with Gore either. This time, I just voted for David Cobb because I knew it wouldn't matter. My state went for Kerry. What about yours? Cheers Felon? |
| Megamike The GREAT 10.12.2004 00:12 |
My State voted Kerry as well... Michigan if you wanted to know.. :) Felon, I commited a crime known as a felony.. I kinda borrowed some money without asking.. actually the way I saw it at the time I was quitting and taking my severance pay with me.. or it was an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas.. either way I took $10,400 from my former employer and went on a mini vacation.. it was VERY STUPID, I didnt think of what would happen if caught because I was depressed and planned on killing myself, but the trip relaxed me and I turned myself in.. as I said, I did a VERY stupid thing and now I am paying for it. :( |

Honestly, if you react like this to a comment that was made completely jokingly, how are you going to act if someone actually says something degrading about the band? |

Love how the newbies go out of their fucking mind when someone says something bad about Queen |

Cecilia, an advice: before posting, read it all and before opening new topics, enjoy yourself reading other people's topics. You may find the answers you need in there and you'll also learn how to act in the Queen community. Don't shout and don't say you hate anybody. You actually don't know us yet. We're very sarcastic, but WE LOVE QUEEN. Wait till you get to know most of us before throwing stones at us. It was all the joke. You're not one of those newbies coming here and posting rubbish about Freddie's sex-life or something like that, I can see it, but you still have to be careful at the beginning. This is a community, just as real as any in the real world. We're real people, we're neither bad, nor good... but you can have a real good time in here. Believe me! I joined the board in June and I still can't leave it! Welcome here and keep that in mind: it's difficult to tell sarcasm on the Internet. Look out for :) and if there's none, be still careful!!! |

how can you say that, hilary duff sucks, freddie mercury has the best voice ever, with an extremely wide vocal range. and he was bisexual, not gay (not completely:P) brian may is the best guitarist ever cause his solos can make you feel something and his arrangements are awesome. |

"Fuck you!!" I like Queen... OR DO I???? MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!! |
