First off, I JUST got the album (finally) and I love it! Now, In the back of the booklet that came with the CD, It talks about software to listen to unreleased material... And my computer won't let me install it. So, I just wanted to know, what I'm missing out on?
It's a song called One Night Stand. Back when Rog's web site was current (HA HA HA HA HA - how friggin long has that been) you were able to listen to that extra song. I never figured out a way to download it. It wasn't too bad actually.
Where did you get it, Dan, and how much did it cost?
I'd be very interested in purchasing that and The Cross's stuff.
EDIT: I could email the song to you, Dan.
I found the CD by complete accident at a local record store called "Manifest" for $20.00, But since I had store credit, It was free! I'd love to hear the extra song!

Alrighty, I shall e-mail it to you when I get home from work...coincidentally, I might need your e-mail address.
If I'm not wrong, the software was an old version of Real Player (5.0 or something). And in order to download the song "One Night Stand" you had to guess the title (which can be heard at the end of the Electric Fire CD).
Great Album - as a whole better than Happiness IMO. But then again, I love all of Rog's Solo-Stuff. Just recently The Cross' "Blue Rock" fell into my hands after years, and I had forgotten how enjoyable that album is...
Anyway: I never noticed the software on "Electric Fire". Is the song still on, as Rogs old site still is ? And talking of that site, was the q+a-section ever actually filled with any content ?
funnily enough, i JUST bought the album 2 days ago (and i already know it by heart!)
It was a such a lucky find.... it has got to be the only "for sale" copy in Australia...and i got it. Then i found a Brian May CD (i didnt buy it, because it was mostly Queen stuff) and then part 1 of 46664...with "say It's Not True" on it.
i spent $60 at that store (46664 and RT CD both $30) and just minutes before... i bought Live Aid ($90)..im shit broke now! thankfully, i get to work all week...
and back to the topic... I LOVE ELECTRIC FIRE!!! its so hot. I love nation of haircuts... i want to give it to my friend...he needs a haircut.
I was disappointed... Some songs are absolutely great (The Whisperers, London Town), but some are extremely naive and banal (Pressure On, Tonight)...
It's nothging special IMHO, much worse than Happiness...
