red vinyl of Sheer Heart Attack from Japan... still no evident proof of its existence. I mean with some warner elektra infos on it. those strange colored colombian vinyls like blue AKOM, or colored live Killers. This is particularly so with the top Japanese Queen collectable a red vinyl promo-only "Sheer Heart Attack" LP. While anti-static, "Everclear" red vinyl discs were once reasonably common in Japan by artists like the Beatles, no commercial albums by Queen were issued in this form. Few collectors have even seen this record, although we are assured that it exists, and at the vinyl is a deep "blood-red" colour, In fact, the one known copy reportedly came from no less a source than Roger Taylor. (A French red vinyl copy of the same album, incidentally, is a counterfeit.) IMO that doesn't mean that Roger has a French red vinyl copy. Jeroen has the Japanese SHA on red vinyl. I've seen it with my own eyes. |

I'm pleased to have found the piano/vocal book for "The Freddie Mercury Album" - for one particular piece of sheet music that I had been wanting for years, and wasn't even sure existed in printed form. That's probably not exciting to 99% of the folks here, but I was thrilled to have found it. And the item I'd most like to have? Freddie Mercury - still alive today. |

Hmm, let's see. Gold & silver awards for ANATO from Yugoslavia - year 1978 (LSEMI - 73033) and silver award for ADATR (Yugoslavia) - year 1978 (LSEMI - 78002). I also have GUEST PASS from 06.02.1979 Dom Sportova, Zagreb concert signed by a member of their crew (not sure who, 'cause I couldn't recognize the handwriting). Well, that's about it :) |

Almost forgot. I wouldn't mind having Freddie's autograph, Roger's drumsticks, Brian's broken guitar strings & John's plectrum. I think I'm quite modest...;) |

Ducksoup wrote: Nicest memories: Seeing Brian May in Utrecht seeing Brian and Roger in Amsterdam. Going to London with my mother when i was 12 y/o and Made In Heaven was released. I Bought it on black vinyl at a Virgin music store. After that, i started collecting. Nicest item: My I'm Going Slightly Mad 1991 promo-poster. It's not that valuable but i love it for the artwork and design. It's Brilliant. Most wanted: I really would love to own the full Blue Vinyl Bho Rhap set (incl. the globets, envelope and scarf). It's now on ebay for 2,500 pounds. If I had the money i would buy it. And of course i would love to have seen queen live.edit : 3 years later: Memories: meeting Roger, meeting Paul. Going to 6 Q+PR shows. Item: a certain pair of onitsuka tiger wrestling shoes.. wanted: the complete virgin radio promo 12" set would be nice :-) |

Most prized piece i have is my "Hammer to Fall" single LP signed by the band, had it for a while now but actually looking to sell it as i need some money at the moment, don't want to sell it but i have no choice. So if anyone is interested let me know. Truly interested! Or it depends.. how much are you asking for it. I don't have millions. |

"Most wanted item in your Queen collection?" Either Roger or Brian. Preferably both, as I've got John and Freddie already, and I want the full quartet. |

I have two 1989 Classic Queen promos, two A Kind Of Magic/Radio GaGa promo CD singles, I have Breakthru with the NOW! Edits. And I'm sure I've got other stuff but I can't think of it right now. I have a lot of 7" singles but I don't pay attention to if they are rare or not. I think I have the Mr. Bad Guy CD somewhere but I don't think it's as rare as people think. I don't even play it. I don't even play the cassette of Mr. Bad Guy, but I love the album. I usually play the singles instead, which I enjoy. Especially 12" versions. These are a couple of things I WANT... which are becoming hard to get items, or I just haven't bought them yet. 1. These Are The Days Of Our Lives (US Cassettes... promo and retail) 2. Scandal (US PROMO) Pink Disc! |
