Who knows this song? I downloaded a 64kps file, 2.63MB and 5.44 long.
It's simply called Bulsara. It's definately Freddie, and it's very weird. Not at all typical. Almost like it's from a soundtrack. It cuts off abrubtly at the end.
Anyone know anything about it at all?
Its written by John Deacon and originaly appears on John's Man In The Shadows album, it was released in Finland as a single and reached no. 189 (b/w Fist Through A Window).
The album version features Freddie singing but the Finnish import features Dave Bartram from Showaddywaddy singing. Mike Grose playes guitar, Barry Mitchel played Timpani and Doug playes drums. A good single.
It's a pretty bloody advanced fan mix.
Where would they get the source music for that? I don't recognise the singing or the music from other Queen songs (maybe I heard a bit of Get Down make Love in there)
Pity. I thought Freddie was really going out on a limb there...
There's very little (maybe even none. Haven't listened to it for a while) actual Queen/Freddie-music on there. It's not a remix as such, but something Jürgen F. Wenzel (the geezer who's responsible for all this) did on his own, a fan tribute, if you like. Apparently he happens to have a voice very similar to Fred's. It's quite likely that nothing except for the "when I'm dead, who cares ? I don't" actually comes from Freddie himself.
