I have a piano recital, and I'm leaving in like... 2 minutes. I'm extremely nervous. I hate being in front of people. You'd think that my stage fright would LESSEN as I got older, but nooooo... it's worse than ever. Oy.
Well, I'm sure you've left by now, but good luck! ...nervousness about playing on my own is one of the reasons I love being in an ensemble and orchestra - even the quartet I've been in left me a nervous wreck before performances, but good-sized groups are so much easier!
Anyways, (again) good luck!
Ja ne.
Good luck! You'll do fine. At least you don't have to make a five minute long speech about stem cells like I do on Tuesday. Which reminds me, I should probably write it!

Atleast you don't have to make an 8-10 minute speech in science for Wednesday like me. ;-)

I'm taking basic piano in college and I clam up every time we have an exam. I always play fine until my instructor is hovering over me! argh
Good luck!
Okay, well it went okay. I played Moonlight Sonata (the first movement), and I kinda screwed up and had a memory lapse at one part, and there were a few seconds of odd silence, but all in all, it sounded pretty nice.
My parents were just mad that I didn't bow. I hate bowing.
