I was just wondering how often you guys listen to Queen. Is it every day, or can you not remember when you last dusted them off?? I have a collection of CD's permanently in my car and it is pretty much all Queen - half an hour driving to work each morning and night - it's great!! Also I put on GH1 or GH2 when I am doing housework - it really gets me going. Then some softer stuff like most of ADATR when I am doing the dishes (not all the time tho') Pretty much love it all the time. |

I realized over the weekend that I haven't listened to a full album in a while; I've just been listening to selected songs when I feel like it. So I listened to Made In Heaven and Jazz, which I've been neglecting for awhile. I also usually play a song or two when I'm getting ready in the morning and in the afternoon, I'll put my Itunes on Shuffle and listen to whatever comes on, but since I've got over four hundred Queen songs, they come up pretty often. :) |
karen 02.12.2004 19:19 |
I put on a Pink FLoyd Cd the other day (because we were going to their show) and I actually felt guilty... |
Penetration_Guru 02.12.2004 19:37 |
It varies - I can go weeks without, but today listened to the first 6 and a half albums straight through. Tomorrow will be Jazz-The Works, although I may well skip lots of Flash Gordon... |
deleted user 02.12.2004 19:46 |
I listen to One Vision before I go to work and it usually leads to a good day, when I don't I'm not pumped up. I work at a library and I really need a cool song like that to get me motivated, then while at work, I Want to Break Free pops in my head ; ) |
SergeantPepperDG 02.12.2004 19:49 |
My iPod is nearly glued to me whenever I'm not at school. Probably 6 out of 10 times, I'm listening to Queen. 2 out of 10, I'm listening to the Beatles (I'm been neglecting them :'(), and the last two, I'm listening to Karma Chameleon, because that's the only Culture Club song I have on my iPod. |
lottie88 02.12.2004 20:08 |
Of course, I just can't help myself! I try and listen to one full cd a day, but sometimes it is hard to find the time. There is always a little Queen in my day though. |
love of my life 14018 02.12.2004 20:15 |
Yes, haha, I feel guilty if I don't, for some reason. I think I've gone one full day without listening to Queen in the past 4 months. I am truly obsessive, just can't help it. Usually one full album a day, or selected songs from two or three. |
deleted user 02.12.2004 20:21 |
I went through a phase when I listened to them for probably over a year. Now I only occasionally listen to them as I do any other band. |

I went on holidays for 2 weeks without Queen (to give my hubby a break too!) - and they came on the radio!! |

Oh yeah, I used to.... If there was any music to be played it was Queen, I did this for the better part of 10 years.. and then slowly I started to slow down.. and then I got interested in the Bootleg shows, and then I was listening to those every day.. and now, well, I listen to them very often, but if I don't hear them during the course of a couple days, well.. it isn't going to kill me. |
rachael mae. 03.12.2004 03:03 |
Pretty much every day, although Ive gone two days now without putting GH1 on. I'm always singing Queen though. |
The Mir@cle 03.12.2004 03:14 |
That's weird... while posting this I listen to Somebody to Love (not a cd, just FM), and the last post in this topic is posted by SomebodyToLoveMe. I listen almost every day to Queen. It keeps me awake in my car. And almost every night I fall asleep with a Queen DVD at the background. At my work we listen to radio Veronica. They surely play a Queen song three times a day. |
brian_may_wannabe 03.12.2004 03:54 |
It depends what mood I'm in. Bad Mood - Another One Bites The Dust Good mood - Tie Your Mother Down, One Vision, Bohemian Rhapsody, Friends Will Be Friends, The Miracle Emotional - Who Wants To Live Forever, One Year of Love, No-One But You (Only Thee Good Die Young) |

I always listen to my Winamp Playlist and that's most Queen songs. Ofcorse other songs too... but most Queen :D When I'm not In my computer, I listen to one of their CD's or my Wembley '86 DVD... So the answer is... I LISTEN TO QUEEN EVERY DAY :) There are not many days that I haven't listen to Queen, these days i usually don't listen to music, but they are very few. And I'm going to buy an mp3 player and then I can listen to all my favorite Queen songs everywere :) Then I don't have to take 2 or 3 CD's and my cd-player with me :P |
Wouter 03.12.2004 09:40 |
No. Once in a while I feel like listening to Queen, but sometimes I don't hear a Queen song for weeks. |

Mean Mistreater 03.12.2004 10:55 |
I pretty much do, or every couple of days. I put on one of my Queen playlists according to my mood at that moment (my Queen mellow mix is the best!) and do my housework. |

I do listen to Queen every day. On my way to school i listen to them on some head phones and then alot of my time at home i listen to them. I mainly listen to Queen II, A Night At The Opera, Jazz, Live Killers, Hot Space, The Miracle, Innuendo, Made In Heaven and Queen Rocks. |

I listen to them often, but not every day. Right now I'm listening to Christmas music - Michael Card, Michael W. Smith, and instrumentals - and I'll probably be listening to those for quite a while. I do listen to them a lot when I have deep cleaning do to, or some really difficult homework to complete or something. For some reason, Queen really do help me to focus and concentrate... Ja ne! |
Sonja 03.12.2004 11:47 |
I haven't listened to Queen for months. |
Pim Derks 03.12.2004 11:56 |
Barely these days. Listening to lots of Beach Boys / Beatles / Genesis lately. |
Voice of Reason 2018 03.12.2004 12:17 |
Not every day, by any means. Though I've got Blue Rock and Electric Fire in the car at the moment - enjoying tunes like New Dark Ages, Bad Attitude and Where Are You Now... |
Brian_Mays_Wig 03.12.2004 12:25 |
Im gonna put EF in my car - good thinking batman. I dont listen to Queen much, just when I feel like it. I listen to more heavy stuff, but Queen will always be my number 1! |
Janet 03.12.2004 13:51 |
My answer is the same as P-G, sometimes I don't for weeks, and then sometimes I listen to several of Queen's albums a day for several days. Just depends on what mood I'm in. |
deleted user 03.12.2004 16:05 |
I have to listen to queen every day. Ive found that if i dont i start to feel very sad about Freddie's death. It seems to be some sort of illness... perhaps more like an addiction! Anyway i usually shove queen on before i go to bed - leaves me satisfied, gives me sweet dreams and stops me crying. |
GiantSpider 03.12.2004 16:43 |

KingMercury 03.12.2004 16:54 |
i have to say yes i listen to queen every day : at home, in my car it is like a drug, you can´t leave it, and you want more i have all te collection (except queen II and Flash), and all the DVD collection i love queen, and i´ve just read a post where somebody said that she listened to a Pink Floid CD and she felt guilty I feel like that sometimes when i listen to other band but i always come back to queen |
LadyMoonshineDown 03.12.2004 17:04 |
Yes. But I listen to other things as well. But for the most part, Queen is on everyday. When I drive to work, I play ANATO. When I drive home, I play Queen II. When I'm lounging around, I like to put in ADATR. When I'm cleaning, I put on Sheer Heart Attack. But really...I listen to more Queen on random impulses than anything else. Cheers |

crowley 04.12.2004 12:20 |
No. I often don't listen to Queen for weeks and then listen to several albums. I often also mix albums for example today I was listening to: 1. Eric Clapton - Acoustic 2. Sting - Collection 3. Queen - Jazz 4. Quen - Game 5. Queen - Greatest Hits I 6. And now I'm listening to Greatest Hits II |

I listen to Queen almost everyday. I have my cd player next to my pillow with the QUEEN cds. So lots of times I listen to the cd before I fall asleep. I noticed if I don't listen to them for a few days I get this craving for the music. Kinda like drugs...I never tried it, but its a comparison. I wanted to ask this question too, but you beat me to it. |

Brianmay1975 05.12.2004 05:16 |
OH YEAH! And I thought I was crazy... It's kinda nice to find out that there are lots of other fans who listen to them every day. I wake up every morning at 6 AM and I never go to school without listening to some of their songs... When I get home, I rush to my PC, my tape player or my vynil record player, depends on my mood, and put on an album (well, I use to alternate them with Elton John, but it's not a sin, as Fred and Elton were good friends :)...). Btw, I listen to other bands also and never feel guilty, but I've got this habit to listen to Queen at least for a couple of minutes every day. This summer, I spent a couple of weeks at my grandparents in another town, brought along two Queen tapes and borrowed my aunt's tape player to listen to them. I listened so much everyday, that just before I went home, the tape player began to sound in a very distorted way - I just fled out the city before anyone noticed the damage... Oh I've got my Christmas music too! On Christmas day, I usually listen to A Kind Of Magic and JAZZ, just because my dad gave them to me as a gift for Christmas two years ago and it was one of the happiest days in my life... and I also listen to my Hammersmith'75 bootleg on Christmas Eve (obviously!) |
Little_Queenie 05.12.2004 09:33 |
Oh yes, every single day!!!! It comes to me as brushing my teeth:)) I really don't remember a day when I didn't listen at least one song... They really make my life so much better, a kind of magic literally. I get nervous if I don't listen to queen for a longer time. |
Goo 05.12.2004 13:48 |
I listen to them almost every day. Even if I don't get a chance to listen to them throughout my day, I usually play Dear Friends right before I go to sleep :) |
Debbie1 05.12.2004 15:51 |
I listen to Queen every day - I find I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't hear Freddie's voice every day. |

when im at school, i listen to them during class (otherwise i dont work). Then to get to my other house (my life is complicated) its a 5 hour drive, so i get through wuite alot of CDs, whether it be Queen (which it is the majority of the time), the Beatles, AC/DC, my great mix CD which i love or my Roger Taylor CD. Then when im at my other house, the radio and TV down there sucks arse, so i listen to my discman. Also, Queen songs normally inspire me to either design clothes, or write songs. They're important to my school work |
kohuept 07.12.2004 13:19 |
I've got all kind of music on my computer at work and on CD in my car. A handfull of Queen songs pop up every day. I usually get a couple of them (BohRhap, FBG) at the piano bar I go to a few times a week. Queen have so many types of songs that they fit into any kind of mix. A couple days ago I made a nice CD to bowl with...no-one in the ally seemed to complain!!! |

Of course! I listen to Queen everyday! Before I go to sleep, I always listen to them. which is my important custom. But to tell the truth, it took rather some time for me( because English is not my native tongue...) to write some replies after reading and thinking over everyday, so I didn't have enough time to listen to them in late November, lol! |

On the average, I would listen to Queen 5 times a week, my commute to work is about 4 hour and 20 minutes round trip so I watch my Queen DVDs on my portable. I must have watches On Fire 15 times since it's release on Nov 16. |
