Anyone else have this DVD??? It's miles better than Wembley '86 and on a par with On Fire at the Bowl!
It should have a worldwide release.
Wadda yer think?

I dont think i've got it. Didn't know it was going to be released on DVD.
Picture's very watchable - it's taken from a laserdisc release.
I think this is the one which sounds like the sound was mixed by Spike's mum, and she clearly feels he was the talented one on stage...
Video in 4:3 sound quality is great. Love of my life has the classic Live Killers ending. Honestly it is a professional presentation with extras (in Portugese).
A friend of my bought it for me in Russia.... I don't like the show, the quality isn't that good and I think they were in a better shape during Wembley '86. I doubt if it's ever officially published. Maybe only in Japan.

A bit harsh!!
Not really. There are others that say the same thing. Heck, if you haven't heard it, I could understand. But if you have, then that's sad! lol
Peace,
Adam.

How can a "Works" Tour concert release be better than any other release from a different tour?
"It's miles better than Wembley '86 "
Not even close.
It's OK but no where near as good as Wembley
"On a par with Bowl"?????
You are kidding aren't you?
Of course you are/
Agree with Adam the sound on Final is poor (UK eqiv to 'sux' ;) )
OK OK I may have been a bit tipsy when I posted this topic....but when I say it is better that Wembley and on a par with On Fire... I'm not actually talking about sound and vision quality, but about the performance of the band.
Yes, i have the Brazilian DVD.It's not the entire concert.90 minutes. It's from the laser disc edition, the sound is not as good as the official releases from Queen Productions. But it's nice, You see Freddie wearing breasts.Cool.

Why would an official DVD release by QP be taken from a laserdisc? And why didn't Brian say anything about this release? I think it's just another bootleg DVD. (Like the greatest flix ones)

As I understand it, the only country where this release has been authorised is Japan, on Laserdisc.
Many of the other releases may well be legal, but that's not the whole story.
I ordered it months ago from link
It's in Portugese (the extras and the menus)
Tie Your Mother Down makes me puke (a piano can be heard VERY VERY clearly and ruins the whole song.
Great versions of It's A Hard Life, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Love Of My Life. And the usual Works crap in form of Another One Bites The Dust being played on trash cans, poor drum sound and keyboards that makes you sick. Shame Dragon Attack is not in the show. Plus for no Guitar Solo. And of course Freddie's worst pants. Rather see him in a leotard than in those tight pants.
The Works tour is a very very very average tour. It is better than Rock In Rio though. Surprisingly complete show in good quality that only misses Dragon Attack, Guitar Solo and Brighton Rock.
i bought a copy on dvd off ebay (looks official enough) and the quality and sound are superb!!!
i think the band gave a great performance here (freddie looking very relaxed and in good spirits)only the dodgy drum sounds and synths ruin a perfect concert
